Then what does that make for the highly speculated next Max Payne by Rockstar?
While quantum break does make use of rockstar's implementation of bullet time (like exactly) I would think there is strong corollary with Braid
Layoffs and escapist closure confirmed. Defy doing damage again
Nah don't think so.. Lol

Lol we all know who they are referencing.
Chris look at these two ign gameplays - one at a university hall and another at some old shipping container yard

The gameplay looks interesting but the world looks devoid of personality. Maybe it's because I'm coming off over 100 hrs of the division. Another sight of a power j...
The environments look a bit boring and uninteresting, the gameplay mechanics do look interesting.
The biggest concern is does the game have a likable world building framework that will keep you hooked
Boom shots fired by Sony. I suspect Sony will have to work with valve so the platform supports Ps VR.
I don't get it. From a video games standpoint their pricing seems to be spot on.
You know Chris, one could say the same about 343 but they've had a rocky start as well and have yet to reach the same heights of bungie's previous endeavors.
There is a synergy the is born of years of collaboration and established governance and practice new studios just don't have but gain with experience regardless of what roster of veteran talent is there.
High hope for a game being developed by a studio with no track record regardless of Rod's involvement.
Just sayin, no dis intended.
Finally I can ditch my tv for a vr headset.
As I mentioned on the other story Sony had a history of putting out media versions of their console or region specific components.
For ps2 there was the PSX

-and PS3 DVR
This seems like a 4k centric version that may not even be released everywhere. Let's not get too excited yet.
Really? Your that sure that a Gears game made by a brand spanking newly formed studio (regardless if helmed by Rod F), will produce a GOTY title on its first release ever? Despite the track record for microsofts newly formed studios like 343 with veterans, your that confident it will beat out titles like uncharted, Horizon, Deus Ex, last guardian, Mass Effect, etc. ?
Amazing faith man. Keep the faith alive bro.
It's not really surprising Sony's always made a media version of its consoles. It's never been available internationally all the time.
For ps2 they had the PSX media centric model
For PS3 they had the DVR

All Japan only mind you.
Half pike for car?? WTF mind blown.
You know the default argument by games media journalists have been that there is a firewall between their advertisement team and the reviews team in response to the ever increasing presence of ads on sites. However, now they are crossing that line of paying the personalities or media folks to make ads for said publisher or in this case microsoft.
Well it looks like at least the closure appears to be on amicable terms which is always the best way to end a relationship even if it's a difficult thing to go through.
It's almost like IGN made a commercial for Quantum Break and got paid for it.
Coming from the IT world, you don't call it a patch unless it's post production release and since th game has yet to ship it makes absolutely no sense to call this update a patch.
Edit: looks like I was right the devs denied this rumor.
Finally wow I thoughts his was certainly on the cutting room floor with phantom dust
