This beta made me decide to buy it so no it didn't do any harm.
The only criticism I have is that the dark zone sort of forces more PvP than PvE due to the fact enemy AIs are sparse and they typicall re spawn in the hand full of same places.
I did enjoy the PvP aspect.. Yea I am guilty of ganging up on the lone dude at the extraction site with my buddies, but to be fair currently it forces you to do that due to the sparse nature of the area.

For all intent and purposes that game looks done for the most part. Similar for quantum break that game looks pretty far along.
Can't really say that for phantom dust, scalebound, Recore. Those cgi trailers looked thrown together without a line of code written yet when announced.
Recore, phantom dust, Scale bound - theses games were cgi trailer announcements that almost felt like they were eager to announce before the ink even dried on paper.
Phantom dust is well dust at this point. Both Recore and scalebound have been delayed.
I see these games as concepts at announcement rather than games like quantum break or uncharted which both felt more tangible and further along in development and to be honest probably more of a strategic dela...
