It looks fantastic alright, I think Namco have a winner on their hands with this one.
Oh you don't half enjoy repeating yourself do you?
Same thing was said about God of War 3..and we all know how that turned out.
The new city is based on New Orleans, its a swamp not a jungle. "Keep it in nice cities"?! Eh Empire City was a post disaster toilet of a town, certainly nothing "nice" about it. The comic strips are still present and you really know nothing about the new take on Cole bar a few screen shots and a short trailer. Sucker Punch have already stated that they read the forums and take criticism on board so you can safely expect some changes further down the development road.
Herman Hultz has already commented on the development of Rico in Killzone 3, his A.I will be better, he will heal you, there will be less gratuitous swearing and more of a buddy vibe going on. All of this coupled with more mature writing and stronger character development will go a long ways to change opinion. As much as I had hoped to get the opportunity to kill him I have to commend Guerrilla for the path they are taking with this character, redemption.
We were all dreaming of a HD 2.5D Symphony style game from Iga..but after seeing screen shots of his new up and coming Castlevania for XBL I have to say the guy has ran out of creative juices entirely, it looks horrendous. Iga done some legendary work in his time but I think its time to hand this franchise over to new blood. Whether or not Mercury Steam are the right choice remains to be seen.
Loving those lavish production values, with Heavy Rain and God of War 3 over and done with I find myself looking towards multi-plats this year, for the first time in 3 years, not that Sony doesn't have any quality exclusives this year but LBP 2, Socom 4, Motorstorm and GT5 are not my bag. Majin, Castlevania and Enslaved should keep me busy until February and then its back to Helghan.
Its a shoddily built contraption end of story. Microsoft are now targeting children and to release a new gaming console that is so fragile is just plain irresponsible.
Oh I can picture it now, Christmas day and the family decides to gather around to try little Billy's new Kinect, all tanked up on booze and turkey...bouncing around the lounge, thirsty Uncle Dick plastered drunk trying his best to stay upright as he makes that raft jump..boing boing....ccccccrrrrrrrrrrrkkkk kkkkkkkunch. Cue tears, Christmas ruined for one little boy.
Wow..you really have to admire this industry for its continuous innovation, I've never seen anything like this?! How they keep coming up with these crazy ideas is beyond me.
Whats not to get?! Its a seatbelt commercial..has nothing to do with Kinect.
Hey Keel, here's a little tip for you so you might make less of a tit of yourself next time you're trolling..the word is "moot" not "mute"..if you are going to use jaded internet favorites to communicate at least do it properly.
A music streaming device similar to Spotify?? SOLD.
True and its treated like gospel..
"we as fans will wait for them to release their next blockbuster."
...eh perhaps their first blockbuster, ICO and SOTC are two of the greatest games ever made in my opinion but they were more in the realm of cult classics rather than blockbusters.
Par for the course I'm afraid..;-)
It is a little ridiculous but lets give "these guys" some credit..all the games you listed are fantastic.
I'm never one for platform cheerleading, but nobody can deny that Sony's first party studios are pushing the technological boundaries of the industry the past few years and it sure is fun to be reaping the rewards.
The guy has clearly just read the Gamepro magazine scans, his quotes are directly from the article, and then embellished the rest of his information.
Born from an egg on a mountain top
The punkiest monkey that ever popped
He knew every magic trick under the sun
To tease the Gods
And everyone and have some fun
Monkey magic, Monkey magic
What a cocky saucy monkey this one is
All the Gods were angered
And they punished him
Until he was saved by a kindly priest
And that was the start
Of their pilgrimage west
Monkey magic,...
