I have the PS3 Orange Box also and I was happy enough with its performance as I had nothing to compare it to. However we are talking two very different types of games, Half Life could look like a PS one game and I'd have still enjoyed it thanks to its superb design and narrative, Bayonetta on the other hand is an action game whose main draw is over the top visuals and a tight combat system. I personally would not be able to ignore frame rate issues mid combat and the PS3 demo just looked ugly...
I wasn't very impressed with the demo, but one great review after another does suggest this game is something a little on the special side. Shame I'm a PS3 gamer as I won't pay cash for an inferior product. On the upside Darksiders is shaping up nicely and is released at the same time, which should keep my action game fix sated until the big one in March.
Yeah, but that would deprive us of the "hilarious" Wii fit gag..
No Siren Blood Curse?? That game was true survival horror.
That's exactly what I saw, N'Gai Croal looking embarrassed to be standing beside that colossal gobshite.
At last a multi-platform game I'm actually excited about.
That is one of hell of a piddly poor list, Dante's is more anticipated than the game it is basically an homage to, God of War 3. Castlevania in 26th place, that game is going to be one of Konami's biggest of 2010.
Great game, the soundtrack is feckin' amazing. Another Pixeljunk product oozing style.
@ceedubya..I doubt it, which is probably a good thing, the thought of some of the idiot fanboys in here being old enough to get that one would have me up all night worrying for humanity.
@Revolver..brilliant, showing our age there. ;-)
"GEM" thats truly outrageous, truly truly outrageous..Gem is its name nothing else is the same!
I thought the side missions were the only repetitive part of the game, the main story missions were all brilliant. I'd like to see some more old school platforming were falls result in death, similar to the bridge level, more of those sublime cut scenes, improved animation for pedestrians, more powerful moral dilemmas and that's me 100% sated. I have no doubt in my mind the sequel is going to be an incredible game.
Reading Sucker Punch's developer postmortem on inFAMOUS you real...
Controller pairing/trophy sync fix.
Perhaps the most highly commented on inFAMOUS related article since the games announcement here on N4G and of course its related to sales. Somehow sales articles are more important then early previews, hands-on, developer interviews, composer interviews etc. etc. Gamers me hole.
I didn't hear a word she said but very enjoyable nonetheless.
What is the problem with hiring an actual Irish voice actor to play Irish characters?? The leads characters accent is ridiculous. Even Folklore, a Japanese developed game, went to the trouble of hiring real Irish actors and yet Western developers and movie makers for that matter think this sh*t sounds believable.
Babbling idiots.
I'll be majorly disappointed if this is true.
I have a huge amount of respect for these guys, SCEA's music team play a huge part in elevating Sony's first party games to that "blockbuster" level. The God of War soundtracks were monumental and IMHO inFAMOUS had the best soundtrack of any game this gen, very unconventional and dynamic but obviously a little too avant garde for the clowns at the vga's to nominate.
@listen..totally agree with you Kratos can never have enough "paste"..I'm glad to see there are other big fans of paste out there, in addition to "fast paste" I'd like to see some shrimp paste, red curry paste, wallpaper paste and of course our old friend toothpaste.
