If the OG Xbone struggles to run this game without some of the worst pop in textures, and frame rates as low as 4 FPS, how do you expect a handheld device with less than half the GPU/ CPU/ RAM to run it? Smooth 10 FPS and draw distance of 10 feet?
You’re the one starting false rumors about “5 year exclusivity deals” in your feigned attempts at convincing those interested to waste money on that Netflix box you pretend is a gaming console. It’s coming to PS4 next year. Personally, I don’t care all that much as PS4 has Fortnite, amongst pretty every other game, that’s worth something, under the sun. PS4 users aren’t begging for more games; you’re begging for them to have less.
Lawbreakers had nothing to do with the platform; it was a dull game that did nothing but try to copy Overwatch, something several games before already tried to do and failed miserably. If you broke down the players of each platform for every major multiplat MP title this gen, PS4’s counts would far exceed Xbone’s numbers. Where PSN is constantly growing, Xbox is recycling it’s users through reselling consoles to the same group over and over again. That’s why the online communities for most Xb...
Switch would literally melt if it attempted to run this lol
Riiiiight. lol
It was the wrong studio to make it. R@D can make good games, but only smaller scale ones, since the team is so small. They were on way over their heads, but their arrogance convinced them they could make a modern AAA title, with only 100 people in only a few years. They should’ve sucked up their pride and expanded their studio before taking on that project. Personally, I think The Order deserves a sequel, as I actually kindof enjoyed the game, but I think a more talented studio should do it. ...
At 1.1 million views on Youtube, It’s the third most viewed trailer out of Sony’s PGW show, behind only Spider Man and TLoU2 (obviously).
I’m pretty this game has already been noticed, and the attention can only go up from there.
Why? Because of its setting? If a game’s good, it’s good. I guarantee Sony is going to market the crap out of this game and show how amazing it is.
On a side note, did anyone else notice that this is likely Sucker Punch’s first M-rated title? Kindof like how TLoU was for Naughty Dog.
It could be, but some people were predicting The Order was going to be the Gears/ Uncharted. Sometimes things don’t work out, and as it stands, this game seems to have received little to no recognition. Looking at typical Xbox sales trends, I doubt this game is going to be a huge seller.
The person who wrote this article only chose Q4 to try and hate Sony’s current marketing strategy, while conveniently ignoring the rest of the year. Who won Q4? The console that sold the most. Even the world’s most powerful netflix box couldn’t stop the PS4 train.
Yup. The console that still managed to sell out during the holidays, despite being over 4 years old, only did so on hopes and dreams. Clearly these people weren’t buying the console for games.
Good. I heard that 300 pound black dude named Tiny needs a new friend.
Well, without spewing your usual fanboy BS, what do you think Sony needs to improve on? Constructive criticism is a thing you know.
I thought this was about epic and Heroics giving an unfair advantage. I guess it should be fixed, but it seems like odd thing to complain about. It’s a very minuscule ammount of XP your missing out on at Best.
So Eddie, when you turn out wrong, what’s your reaction going to be?
People like exclusives, especially in PlayStation’s case, because they tend to bring out the best of the console’s hardware by not being hindered to find some middle ground between platforms in an attempt to make sure no one feels like they have less of a game.
@Eddie and Imalwayswrong
Prove your point. Show us a game that is trademarked by either Sony or Nintendo that is available on other platforms. MS is a poor example because they choose multi platform with PC, due to their obvious stake in it.
PS4 will “Probably” reach 100 million. No, it will. A console that is still tracking above the highest selling console of all time will not have trouble meeting that goal.
2021 is a pretty comfortable year for next gen consoles. Got a plenty of potential games to keep this gen strong.
Still confused as to why it’s not available on the US PSN Store.
PUBG is like RotTR; it launched on Xbone first, the Xbone version was published by MS, there was no mention of the PS4 version until the following August, and in that time MS was constantly playing their word gymnastics to avoid admitting it was only a timed exclusive, all while their fanboys were saying “haha you Sony ponies will never get this game!”

Hell, remember Phil Spencer’s own words: “We wouldn’t invest in this game is it wasn’t an exclusive in the long term”?
