It seems like they are really banking on Sea of Thieves, and given that there has been little to no feedback about that game, it’s unlikely it’ll be remotely successful. Crackdown 3 is probably going to be half assed and quickly forgotten, basically leaving the obvious Forza Horizon 4 and potential Halo 6 to give Xbone any identity next year.

I thought this was pretty obvious. All Sony has to do is drop the price of base PS4, and it’ll sell completely sell out in a day or 2. That being said, if Xbone truly doesn’t win December, then there will never be a chance of the US gap closing. I can’t lie, even I figured that was going to happen eventually, but PS4 has been able to dominate on the Xbone’s home turf, despite no longer being the most powerful of the two
Why? I enjoyed both. Personally, DK64 was my favorite, but there’s no factual basis that any N64 platformer was better than the others.
Did you miss the part where Kojima announced its mostly playable? He’s a perfectionist though, and wants to make sure the game is as close to perfection before the final product is out.

I hope not. Just like TLoU2, I don’t want this is 2018. There will be plenty of games in 2018 to tide PS4 users over; these games don’t need to be rushed out. They should get as much time as they need to be perfect. It’d be a damn shame for some petty fanboy pressure to slander two of the greatest names in the industry.
@EddieT It’s not self published; it’s 100% published and trademarked by SIE. The Decima Engine is the engine developed by Guerila Games, which is a Sony first party studio. Every aspect of the game is owned by SIE. Feel free to troll if you want to, but unless Sony themselves green light a PC version, the only time you’ll ever see Death Stranding on a PC will be on petition.org when PC users realize they have to beg for it.
Yes... a game that is being published by Sony, and using a Sony-owned engine that was created by a Sony-owned studio, is going to be available on other platforms. If you’re talking about PC, that’s a very faint maybe; if you’re talking about Xbox/ Switch, not a snowball’s chances in hell.
“Very similar” is a subjective phrase. Just because it’s a “similar” frame rate on paper, that doesn’t it will be so consistently. You should probably wait for actual comparisons before making an article.

PS4 isn’t competing with Switch; it’s competing with past PlayStation consoles. It’s doing pretty decent numbers when compared to PS3, which is still pretty good, especially after the flops that were Wii U and Xbone.
Don’t forget having the games that were announced 2+ years ago turn out to be either cancelled or shovelware flops
I would agree that it’s a great selling point, but Sony has made leaps and bounds in the sales department. It seems like every other day there’s a new flash, developer, seasonal, or holiday sale that offers plenty of excellent deals on the PS store.
Meh. It was entertaining in previous GoW titles, but those sex segments were literally in every other title lol. As long as the game is great, I can live without.

You’re the one so desperate that you’re forced to reference an article that was made, before Death Stranding was even announced, that Kojima wanted to put his next IP on PC. You have zero evidence of the game being confirmed for PC. But hey, if I’m wrong, feel free to become a developer, use Sony’s Decima Engine, then try to put your game on a platform of your choice.
