The system is doing great and it's not even out in all it's strongest regions just yet. It's going to be the highest selling 8th ten console come the Japan release, and once Sony's own AAA titles start really dropping within the next year, it's only going to snowball from there. Not to mention if multi plats remain better on the system, then it will be people's choice for multi plats as well. Just make sure this train keeps roaring, Sony. It's nowhere near out of t...
Very interesting batch of news, especially with The Last Guardian. A lot of people still have that on preorder, so Sony would have to find a way to compensate, though I doubt if we actually solid confirmation that it's almost finished and a new trailer with a solid release date, I doubt it would take much more to convince those people to jump on board the PS4 train.
"The first "must have" game for Xbox One"... And it's not even an exclusive. That sucks bro.
Two major problems I see with this guys main argument (about features): 1) He seems so keen on naming all the features that M$ has in store, that he forgets that Sony can do do just the same with their console, and are even in talks with companies like Viacom and DirectTV to do just that. 2) He knows absolutely nothing about the consumer, i.e. the person who goes out there to buy one of these consoles. He makes the assumption that looking for a device to help with their in home entertainment,...
Ooooooohhh... That's not good news. Especially this early in the generation. That esRAM was pretty much M$'s last ditch effort for the system.
I can tell you the number one reason. People tend to underestimate just how powerful third party support is, and just how much it influences people's choice when buying a console. What I mean is, there are very few fanboys out there. Very few will just buy a platform on brand name alone, because chances are they're buying it for their favorite big third party titles, and whichever platformed shows the best third party support and offers more bang for their buck will win their affectio...
It happens bro. On that note however, you can't forget that they were also the only major site to LoZ: ALBW they GotY award for 2013. It's all about difference of opinion. You may think that this is a near perfect platformer, but that doesn't automatically mean it is in everyone else's eyes. You'd be naive and crazy to try and declare otherwise. Just get over it. The game is resting at 82 on Meta currently, and will probably finish at 80/81 or at worst at 79. None of those...
Pretty damn accurate. Xbots. You mad, kids?
I really really do hope all these teases popping up means they're finally going to unveil this at GDC. This could very easily be one of the biggest franchises of the 7th, so, once some actual gameplay is shown and Infamous hits store shelves and we see some gameplay, Sony needs to market the hell out of it like M$ did with Gears back in the day. It's got a great developer behind it, and no real competition within it's genre for the rest of the year. I think if this game has co-op ...
Meanwhile, RYSE, the most next gen looking title on Xbone is running 900p at an average of 16 FPS. Not to mention it's one of the most linear games ever created. LMAO!
Hey kids, here's a fun fact: Did you know that God of War 3 looked just as good as RYSE and ran 1080p at up to 60 FPS, never dropping below 30 even in it's most hectic moments, and all on last ten 7 year old hardware to boot!
But, I guess you simply can't expect Xbot's tiny ...
I know. Honestly, I've seen very little of the PS user base actually care about Gears being bought. It's really not a big deal, especially after the travesty that was Judgement. Hell, even a crap game like God of War: Asscension got a higher meta AND outsold it to boot. The series proved that it ran it's course When Gears 3 had a headstart over UC3 and still got outsold eventually AND got demolished by UC3 in reviews. Xbots are just drumming up false drama about PS fans in a sad p...
Meh… This is just a lame way of some Xbots trying to justify their pathetic gen 7.5 console, that can't even run last gen games properly. Oh well Xbots. Keep your sales and Gears. Meanwhile The Order, inFamous, GT7, MLB 14, and Dead Nation 2 will will be awesome and run actual next gen graphics.
B-b-b-but teh Ryse is teh best lookin game on consoles evur! Our god, Microsoft, said so!
Foolin around aside, this game looks absolutely phenomenal, and it's running native 1080p to boot. Can't wait to get my hands on this one.
I'm not not even inclined t buy WITH a disc drive right now. One without would just be another way of M$ further forcing people into their shitty policies. How about they actually produce some decent games for and at least try to convince people about the cloud BS with some real world evidence. Not just some BS hearsay.
Honestly, Uncharted in 2015 is actually a good thing. The Order is getting a decent amount of attention at the moment, and Sony has to get the hype train rolling on that so they add another hit exclusive franchise to the list. Uncharted launching around the same time would just cause the two to compete with one another, and they would both suffer sales wise, more so The Order. Both will do well this way, plus it starts up a list of big 2015 launches on top of the already strong 2014 list.
So a game having a sequel means it's a milked franchise that's ruining gaming? Are you f*cking kidding me? Do this guy even know what milking something means? Some developers care enough about the products that they make to create universes behind them to make more stories that stem from it. It's done to keep a game fresh. What you're implying is developers should make a brand new game every time they work on one. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, and what...
You're one gamer. Not every gamer is willing to just drop $300 for a console just to play Nintendo games, especially when they're the same Nintendo games we've been seeing for decades. First parties are great, but third parties make up a far larger portion of the industry, and without them, a console is destined to either fail or sell poorly, even with fantastic exclusives. Want proof? You know what other console company decided they were going to rely 100% on first party exclusiv...
Delay sounds like a much better plan than releasing a title with content than it's predecessor, at full price no less, and then expecting people to spend boatloads more money on the rest of the content down the road via DLC.
I love how people still honestly believe that the key to the Wii-U's success is first party exclusives. Do people already forget that the gamecube had these very same exclusives that Nintendo is touting today, and still ended up the worst selling console of gen 6? It's not just exclusives. They NEED strong third party support, and they NEED for gamers who play mainly third party games to take interest in the console. Without those 2 things, combined with strong first party exclusives,...
I'm stoked just thinking about how much bigger the gap is going to grow come the Japan release. Plus, I have a theory: Sony has been fairly quiet on news about the system lately because they've been so focused on marketing it in Japan. I feel like once the dust settles from that launch, the news is going to start flowing like a giant ass waterfall. I can't wait to see how these next couple years go for the system.
