Well, we know he’s alive, per ND’s own confirmation, so that throws people’s BS “Ghost” theories out the window. He’s probably just too old at this point, so he’s probably more of a leader and for guidance, as opposed to going out of his way to kick some ass. He had to be at least in his late 40’s/ early 50’s in TLoU. He’s likely pushing 60 now. Not a good age to be doing crazy things, especially in a world where it’s a lot harder to maintain health.

They’re definitely way off for Xbone, that’s for sure. Based on the EA numbers, Xbone is at best sitting around 32 million, especially seeing as it hasn’t won a single NPD since October 2016, and isn’t a huge seller outside the US. VGC’s almost 38 million is way too high. Can’t really blame them though, given MS’s hush hush nature
That last part is definitely not true, at least not on PS4. I’ve played Fortnite, AC, BF, and Minecraft (Vita), and I never had to create a third party account for any of them. My PSN account was sufficient. Regardless, Sony isn’t competing with those 3 on the hardware/ online community front. If MS starting putting their titles on PS4 and Switch, then your point, and this whole thing, would make a lot more sense. Wii U had better third party support than Switch. Wii U had CoD, AC, ME, Aliens, Darksiders, Far Cry, and Madden. Had these games not sold so poorly, Wii U would’ve at least continued to see installments of those. Switch only really gets third party support through Bethesda, Japanese titles, and a couple sports franchise. It’s basically missing everything else.

I still want to see Nintendo implement their own achievement system across their own games. Getting them in games like Mario, Pokémon, and Smash would be awesome.

It’s kindof like when UC4 bugged out at the original PSX gameplay demo. The first reaction is to think that is a bad thing, but then when you think about it further, you realize that they were in fact playing the game live on stage, and didn’t bring anything pre-rendered or pre-recorded. It was raw genuine footage, and outside of that one hiccup that was easily fixed through development, the game looked phenomenal.
This isnt romanticizing by any stretch. This is recognizing genuine quality from a studio that knows how to deliver some of the best experiences in gaming. If you don’t like ND or their games, that’s fair, but to dismiss their skills and tell others to do the same is petty.
Well, the fact that Sony has a much larger presence in the online gaming space now is all the more reason for them to become a little more protective, and after the negativity against them over the years, I don’t blame. PC is the only really relevant online community outside of PSN anyways.
