@Neonridr The Switch is substantially weaker than the PS4/ Xbone, than the Wii was with PS3/ 360. Can games like Metro “technically” run on Switch? Yes, but it’s going to require cutbacks so great that it likely won’t even be worth it. As it stands, base PS4/ Xbone barely meet the minimum requirements for most games, let alone Switch.
I feel like unless they plan on pricing PS5 insanely high, or taking a huge loss, then I can definitely see a potential PS5 Pro down the road.

If they are, it’s not affecting the Playstation community in a negative way. They’re on top of their exclusives game more so than ever, with some seriously amazing looking titles in the pipeline. This crossplay thing is only problematic for multi-console owners that want to have stats carry over to a competitors console. PS4 won, and God of War has sold more copies than every game this year besides FC5. That’s pretty incredible.
I remember when media outlets were saying UC4’s demos weren’t real, and then we got the analysis videos, and the finished product actually exceeded the demos. I get that some studios in the industry seriously oversell their product, but ND has never been one of those studios, so it baffles me that so many people continue to underestimate them. It really must be just a jealously thing.

You’re attempting to imply that 3rd party titles are going to disappear, or that the number of people who actually care are so high that PS sales will hurt. Neither of those will happen. PS makes the majority of money for third party titles on console. Clearly millions of people prefer PS4 as their system of choice for multiplats, and I sincerely doubt that many people actually care about these features, otherwise they wouldn’t be buying and playing these games on PS4 in the first place.
Well that last part of your comment is inaccurate because we already know that the Cross Play/ Cross Progression works fine from PS4 to PC; just not with other consoles, and really, why should it? MS blocks these same exact things between Steam and Windows players on PC, and no one bats an eye; Sony does it against direct competition, and people are losing their minds.
Am I missing something with all this? This sounds like standard practice for any of companies. Last I checked, even with something like an EA Origins or Uplay account, I can’t log into on one system, and then log into another and transfer my data. Should I be calling MS anti-consumer, because I can’t play CoD on XBL and then have my stats carry over to PSN? Seriously, what the hell is the big deal here?
