Less than month? They hit 3.1 million in 3 days, 5 million in less than a month. Ninja Theory is a mediocre studio that has to celebrate mediocre numbers.
Rare has been long dead to anyone that is actually familiar with their talents. I almost feel bad for these Xbox fans. The majority of them are too young to have had the chance to experience the real Rareware.
The studio was kindof subpar trash anyways. That’s why they were in the situation they were to begin with. Their mediocrity fits right in with MS studios’ “quality”

@Sarky Well, considering Detroit hit 1 million in 2 weeks, and is still QD’s fastest selling title (potentially could pass Heavy Rain’s 5 million), you came up with a pretty bad example yourself there, bud lol
DOOM, as beautiful as it was, is still a fairly linear FPS, that could run on low end PC’s that matched Switch. It would take a lot than simple texture and resolution downgrades to get a modern open world title on the level of Metro to work with Switch’s hardware. Not to mention, would the effort actually pay off?
Pretty sure if you actually laid out a “worst” version, it would hands down be either the Switch or base Xbone version lol
But hey, both Epic and Sony are going to continue making a killing off of Fortnite, and this bundle only adds on to that fact. What’s more amazing is knowing how badly that hurts fanboy egos lol ;)
Don’t forget, MS dividing up the PC community by not putting their games on Steam, and denying cross play/ cross progression with games that are on both Steam and Windows Store is totally okay too. These corporate shills just can’t stick with a single poison, they’re that sad and insecure lol

SoT and SoD2 are difficult to say, simply because all we’ve are vague player counts across 2 platforms, and a lot of PR crap with no actual software numbers.
But will that last part actually help their sales? Games like Quantum Break, Recore, and Forza Motorsport got a lot of marketing through MS as well, and we all how those have done.
It would’ve hit these numbers regardless. Sadly their exclusivity is likely going to badly hurt the sales of their next game.
Congrats, but when other SP games like God of War and Detroit, in a matter of hours/ weeks, on a single platform, numbers like these really seem subpar. Hopefully their next game fares better, but I kindof doubt it with their recent purchase.
True. Hopefully I’ll get lucky like I did with God of War. Honestly though, if I can find just the statue for sale after launch, I’ll just shoot for that. Besides the game, that’s all I really care about.
I imagine it won’t be. It’s just gotta be dissapointing that they’ve been doing all this hyping for X, going all the way back to 2016, and then announce newer and better hardware on the way just 8 months later. I know X hasn’t been an amazing seller, but it’s still gotta be crumby for recent adopters. Oh well, none of it matters to me anyways. Next gen I’ll be pretty much exclusively PS5 and PC. The Xbone S is likely the last Xbox I’ll ever buy.

I’m not a fan of pirating games by any means, but it is pretty shitty that Nintendo is against allowing classic games from the N64/ GBA days and ealier. They seem to refuse to put those games out on Switch legitimately, so why not let people pirate those?
