This whole article sounds like a feigned to derail one of the most hyped and anticipated games out there, by someone who has yet to actually play it. Pathetic.
They have a full fledged game coming next year. Nintendo has clarified this particular game is for the casual of casuals, which is why I find insanely dumb when hardcore Nintendo fans and Pokémon “enthusiasts” try to hype Let’s Go! up. Sorry, but it’s garbage lol
Real Pokémon game next year.
“Simplifying”
I honestly don’t think anything has simplified Pokémon more than when X & Y gave the EXP. Share early on, and made it a key item so that no Pokémon had to hold it, and all Pokémon in your party would each gain half the EXP of the amount your Pokémon in use would. THAT turned Pokémon into one of the easiest games ever created. Amazingly, it’s always been a fairly simple and easy series.
I’m still curious about this one. Will it be nothing but running and hiding, or will there be more action elements to it? It reminds a lot of Bioshock, so it’d be pretty cool to have some fun weapons as well
Because all these media outlets are MS shills, and they feel the need to capitalize on any oppurtunity they can to praise MS, while attacking Sony. In Sony and PS4’s case, it’s just not easy being the best.
I don’t think Sony has any intention of getting putting a huge amount of effort into E3 until it’s time to talk about PS5. I mean, why would they? They can have a bad presentation, but they’ll still sell millions of PS4’s each month, their games will still review high, they’ll still rack up PS+ subscribers, and their games will still sell several millions of copies, each. PS4 has long since won this gen, and we’re entering the transition phase. No point in going all out until it’s necessary. ...
Meh. One fact still remains true that the haters are too prideful to acknowledge: bad format or not, Sony’s games are still going to kill it on the review and sales front. A “better” E3 is redundant.
I’m calling a spade a spade and saying there really was no winner this year, between the big 3.
MS had a strong lineup, but it was all multiplats, with their strongest announcements involving the purchase of new studios whose games we likely won’t see until next, plus the fact that they’re already openly talking about new hardware the X is barely a half a year old; kindof crappy to shove a $500 console down our throats and announce a new one so soon.
So...
Japan Studio also said they’re working an a RPG, and it’s gonna be their biggest title to date.
I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of cross gen titles/ PS5 relying a little more on PS4 Firwards Compatibilty, to buy Sony’s WWS some time.
PSAS2 would be a megaton announcement at this point.
Glad to hear you know everything going on within SIE. While you’re at it, can you sneak over to Valve and tell us when Half Life 3 is coming out?
@GodMars Those just happen to be the types of games that their studios want to make at the moment. I’d much rather those games as a result through creative freedom, than the studios being told what their going to do, and then putting out crap. 343, Black Tusk, and Rareware anyone?
New inFamous is doubtful, unless a different studio is making it. Sucker Punch isn’t quite big enough to be a 2 team studio yet, and I imagine Ghost won’t be a one time thing, as that doesn’t seem to fit SP’s style.
@ILostMyMind Hopefully. PS5 with 100% BC, as well as FC for most titles would be an excellent move by Sony. Combine that with their future first party titles that will be exclusive to PS5, that would be an amazing console.
My hopes, assuming they’re sequels to known IP’s
PSAS2
BloodBorne 2
New Resistance
New SOCOM
Why do people just assume whatever MS does will yield better results than PS Now? Anything Xbox has done this gen has not yielded better results for them. Just because MS says “We want to to be the Netflix of gaming”, that doesn’t mean it’ll automatically happen. You have to have more than just blind devoted fanboys, who buy 5 different versions of your console, before that can happen lol
At what point did those developers express any sales expectations, or praise their relatively low numbers after launch?
Meh, not so much PS4, simply because PS4 still has a lot of exclusives i can’t enjoy anywhere else. PC has everything Xbox these days.
But I’ll bet money you liked them when they made Sunset Overdrive.
