@GearSkiN If they weren't "going for graphics" why the weird 792P resolution instead of the much more straightforward to scale 720P to allow for better performance?
They were supposed to be going for performance: "frame-rate is king", yet they pushed the graphics further than they needed to and it suffers in terms of frame-rate.
I'd like to know who made these decisions and why given the slowdowns and tearing.
@majiebeast It seems like they are, completely agree, it's all about getting machines into the US right now. As you highlighted, the $400 console has been in stock at Amazon for a little while now and shot to top of March sales (beating titanfall sales in the process) and is still showing >999 in stock right now.
Only ones I'm seeing now are bundles and the basic model only at Amazon... and using the 999 trick, they still have a lot!

A really random way for Sony to confirm the ps4's CPU clock speed though, especially when they've been reluctant to do that so far.
Not complaining, just wish it was in a better way, comparing the ps2's emotion engine clock speed to the cum total of the ps4's Jaguar cores is... weird.

I attempted to check stock levels by placing greater quantities into the basket. About 30 minutes ago it let me add 19 but not 20. I just tried while typing this and it lets me add 17 but not 18.
I think they're just shifting a small stock of the solus console in the face of titanfall bundle value elsewhere. It doesn't seem like they're sitting on 1000s of these at all. Plus it is web only offer, not in store.
I predict stock will be gone by late...
I don't really see why it's necessary. It's a game we know well turned up to 11 wearing a ridiculous beanie. We know what we're getting and the thirst is real.
A demo only makes sense when you can't get across aspects of a game via video or if you're struggling to garner any attention. inFamous SS suffers neither of those.
dx12 talk is just yet another "please hang on in there, it'll happen at some point, just you watch, keep believing"... it's up there with anything penello and hryb slipped out over the last 12 months. It's not the magic bullet key to unlocking the true potential of the hardware, it's a carrot on a stick to keep people from jumping ships.
@MrCrimson Convincing you to switch burger brands by offering deals isn't quite in the same league as giving away the two biggest titles for a system, especially one you paid millions for. If the xbox one was selling well it wouldn't be happening. That's why it's seen as an extreme measure, they realise their box isn't resonating and offers little value to gamers at this point.
Make sure you do them both as good and evil just so you get to play with all the powers and play styles, although saying that I've still got to finish off infamous 2 as evil cole.

In it for the long haul. Microstudios of today could grow to be important players in 5 or 6 years time, Sony engaging them now is an investment in good games fo today and better relationships in future.
