Weak offerings for July, which could really use some strong games, guess I will go back and finish WD and wait for TLOU remaster.
I will ask again like I have for each month this year when the PS+ annoucement arrives, I ask where is my Journey remaster for PS4? We have Flow and Flower, where is Journey Damnit!!
Well that is disappointing sales for the new SKU, seeing as how VGChartz usually undertracks PS4 and overtracks X1 it may be a larger gap. I think it is becoming clear that the xbox brand was largly damaged by their original vision before their backtracks. Best thing MS and Spencer can do is continue to win back their fans this gen and then come out strong next gen. It's still early but being 4 million behind already does not look good seeing as MS had a nearly 9 million lead before PS...
I guess my main point was of all the games to bring back there were many more popular choices that would sell better.
ESRAM would have been fine but there isn't enough of it, they had to sacrifice gpu space to fit on the dye, so we also got a lesser gpu because of their decision not to use DDR5 ram. It was microsofts mistake, I blame Don Mattrick, notice he left.
I think they should have brought back Perfect Dark, Conker, or Banjo. Who was asking for Phantom Dust? I played it on first xbox and was ok, nothing special, and sold poorly. It was an anticlimatic reveal.
Bloodborne did have a theater presentation and Far Cry 4 had a playable demo. So they should have been on this list. In fact Bloodborne was the biggest surprise at E3.
Preordered looking forward to these games.
Arguably the greatest emotional adventure game created to date. To those that have yet to experience this game. Let yourself get immersed in the story and setting, your in for a treat.
Does not surprise me as the one constant is EA and they are a bane on this industry. 38 Studios even though it spent to much money could have been saved if EA agreed to a Kingdoms of Amaluar sequel. Now Crytek is in trouble and EA has been publishing their Crysis games. EA is just a garbage publisher and does not help their developers and that includes giving DICE more time to have BF4 ready for launch.
Lame bonuses. Extra mission is only 25 minutes of gameplay, so its throw away. I razor spear, I think they are running out of ideas. This spin and win game is silly, as a gamer I couldn't care any less for a weekly drawing contest.
All in all this is one of the lamest preorder bonus packages I can remember, especially on such a big franchise game. I will still get the game, but I have no desire to run out and preorder it.
Ubisoft and other publishers that use game clips with target visuals to sell a game, but are not achieved need to stop that practice. I realize its a nice PR push for a game to do that but the gamers have caught on and the negativity out weighs the positives.
It is not just resolution and framerate. I set forth above it was more than a remaster. Go watch the interview Evan Wells did when TLOU remaster was announced. ND is one of the best development houses and always cutting edge on console graphics, Corrinne Yu is one of the best programmers in the biz and she is involved, but hey believe whatever you want.
Technically TLOU Remastered is more than just a remaster (increase in resolution and framerate). ND actually started work in earnest on this after TLOU launched on PS3. They have worked on this for a year according to the interviews they gave at the title announcement. They mentioned all new lightning, AA, and some other graphical enhancements. Ellie actually looks like a 14 year old instead of the 10 year old she looked before. TLOU was already a fantastic looking game that will only lo...
They should do a Crysis 1 - 3 HD remaster and offer it at a good price on X1 and PS4 that should sell well and help them get back on their feet. The two recent games they annouced won't help them.
I am so looking forward to this game I believe the final product is going to be something special.
Not a good idea, look at what happened to Rare and Bungie. Rare is a shell that hasn't made anything significant in years. Bungie was buried in Halo death cycle, they had to become independent to try a new ip.
Doesnt matter who sets the prices high prices will be a fail.
publisher makes prices is just spin, the service will fail on such high prices.
Not sure why the witcher team would want to associate themselves with a marxist socialist but whatever.
Hardline is a DLC pack trying to be sold as a full retail game.
