The next 12 to 18 months is crazy full of games, between my PS4 and X1 I have 18 preorders and my friend has 25. Believe me we are not going to be hurting for games once they start arriving next month. TLOU remaster, then Metro redux, then Desiny, then on and on and on. Good time to be a gamer of either camp or all camps.
I am not much into racers especially simulators, however I did enjoy the Burnout games and a little game called Split Second (oh how I wish there would be a sequel), but it is clear Evolution have put some hard work into the graphics on Driveclub. Even fanboys on the other side have to appreciate that, right?
I agree it has clunky gun control, which worries me in that other areas may be clunky in the control department. Using clunky controls to build tension ala RE4 and RE5 doesn't work for me anymore. Will pass on this game if it turns out like that.

Thundercats you sound silly, ready for the nut farm actually and here is why. MS games last gen were never known to push graphical boundaries for example the best looking series on 360 last gen was probably Gears yet Uncharted 1 looked better than Gears 1, so why now would you think MS games will be better graphically when the X1 clearly has a weaker GPU (It is well documented to be weaker).
It was tense and atmospheric, love games with great atmosphere. Bloodborne looked stunning as well.
The best new AAA ip shown from either Sony or MS was Bloodborne and it looked stunning.
MS should have kept the Forza Horizon 2 reveal, the Sunset Overdrive gameplay, and the price drop SKU for their E3 show and had less third party multiplatform games in their conference. MS missed a golden opportunity to surprise and have more annoucements, instead they reveal these things early to give other studios face time in their conference, which didn't serve MS well. Like I said they missed an oportunity.
Yeah that was disappointing, if Sony has a strong show tonight and a megaton or two, they might just ensure first place for the generation. MS really needed a better showing than that.
With their quality vision I think yes. Lets face it Id is a shell of its former self. I think Id may close doors after Doom4. J Carmack is no longer there to make engines for them anymore, so they wont have that business going forward.
I dont expect Id to be around much longer. Many of the guys that made them great are gone like Romero, J Carmack, A Carmack, etc, etc. Also you cant spend 5 years to make a game and only sell a couple million units. Its sad but I think Id's better days maybe behind them. As far as Doom 4 goes its been years in development hell, which included a complete restart. I dont expect a whole lot from Doom 4.
I hope it turns good if it in fact does come out. Nothing has been seen of this game in Years and Ueda left the game as director. Makes me wonder if Team Ico is even what it used to be. I think this is all wishful thinking, but Sony should either say its stay in development or say its cancelled.

I brand new Burnout game would be sweet. It doesn't matter to me if its open world like Paradise or more linear like the previous titles, just want a new one.
Personally i am a huge GOW fan and beat them all numerous times. If Sony was smart they would let the franchise rest a few years and let Santa Monica studio apply their GOW talents and make a Heavenly Sword 2 or a Heavenly Sword reboot but keep the female lead character and expand on her story. Now would have been the perfect oportunity.
There is more at work here than price. The X1 console itself is huge and unattractive looking. Also the industry doesnt soon forget the crap MS tried to pull, gamers hold ill will to xbox brand this gen.
I agree. I got PS4 at launch then got a sweet deal on X1 when Titanfall came out (kinect is still in the box, lol). Though I have enjoyed the first party offerings on both sides as soon as I get DR3 finished I got all the first party titles done Killzone, Infamous, Resogun, Ryse, Titanfall, Warframe, etc. all done.
Now where are the first party titles coming from, it looks lite right now.
Why does he have to work for a developer? There has been numerous articles tech guys breaking the two GPU's down and the conclusions are PS4 GPU is better not sure why fanboys continue to argue against fact? Is it because Xbox diehard fanboys want to believe a different reality.
