Seems like more than just a remaster here. New Last Light engine for the first game, reworked graphics, new AI, all DLC, 60 fps. Sounds nice going to pick it up.
Last gen was to long.
Five to Seven years should be plenty of time for this gen.
I am sure both will be 1080p. Difference will be the PS4 will be natve and X1 will be upscaled and will probably be missing some effects.
Fewer people bought a PS3 because they had to buy 3 or 4 360's because of it's crappy hardware, for millions of gamers that left less money to explore other platforms. That's not Sony's fault that's MS fault.
I don't get the argument that somehow its bad to remaster games when other media like film and music do it all the time. Right now many movies are being remastered in 4k rez and I don't see any outcry over that practice. It's about time for the whiners to get over themselves about remastered games it's a silly argument.
Oh not complaining just thought all dlc was included. I didn't buy any dlc for TLOU on PS3.
I like the little details like using the mic on DS4, wonder if the clickers clicks will come thru the controller mic, that would be a nice touch.
Preorder paid off and looking forward to this gem. Kinda disappointed the Personlization Pack not included and you have to pay for it as I thought all DLC was to be included in this release.
I rarely say anyone mention this, but Spec Ops The Line had a really interesting story imo. With everything that goes on during the game, the twists and turns, then the revelations at the end caught me off guard and really made me think about what happened in that game on more than one occasion since I completed it. That is the mark of a good story.
For me a great games parts happen in this order and its different for everyone.

Will X1 have same framerate and resolution as PS4? I have many friends who want to play it on X1. I have fewer friends on PS4 that want to play it, but there is the added DLC content for PS4.
So is Destiny supposed to be the same on X1 and PS4 graphically and perform wise? Cause if not that might make my decision easier on which console to get it for.
FF is not the cool kid in town and has lost its luster, now that there are so many quality rpg's Witcher series, MAss Effect series, Fallout games, Elder Scrolls. No one I know even plays FF anymore.
I don't think they were rushed but neither MS or Sony did a very good job of having games in development to release in a consistent manner for these new consoles. It will all hash its way out in a couple months.

I wasn't impressed by the video of criterion staffers talking about their new game. Noone asked for an extreme ATV game. What gamers wanted and have been wanting for 6 years is a new burnout game, but I have lost hope that will ever happen seeing as they are a small team now nd everyone responible for those great burnout games are gone. Such a shame they got stuck doing Need for Speed games when they had the team to make burnout, but that is just another of EA's stupid moves.
The PS4 will continue to out sell X1, just like PS3 caught up with 360 and passed it, this time Sony doesn't have catching up to do, Microsoft does. Regardless the X1 reveal was a PR and social media disaster for MS. No way Bloodborne comes out in February, to many big games that month. The Order and Witcher 3 locked in and rumor is Batman AK may release in Febraury as well. March or April for Bloodborne would be a better time.
If they abandon physical media then I abandon them. Watch Dogs was broken for a couple weeks for many gamers because of their UPlay online BS. So Ubisoft and digital only does not go well together.
