But sure, I mean form you're own opinion and don't let everything we say push you toward something you don't like. Give it a try, or don't. It's your money.
You know, I tend to find myself playing XBLA games a little bit longer than some full 360 games. Gaming these days has always been more about creating whole universes and worlds for the character to navigate. And trying to make the game realistic in it appearance, with visuals and sound.
Sometimes you just need to get back to basics and enjoy gaming...arcade style. The way gaming started.
Ikaruga, one of my favorite traditional Japanese vertical scrolling shooters! Hey, does anyone remember G Darius? Or better yet Einhander? Yeah, those two games were AWESOME! Not vertical shooters, but what the hell they were great games. Einhander I think was one of the finest, it really had a great weapons system and the environments were spectacular.
Oh, here's nostalgia for ya. KLONOA!!! Great game! Oh crap, here's another one: WILD 9!!!!!
Damn, those were the go...
my one major gripe with Schizoid is that there's no restart level option. for a game THIS hinged on perfection you'd think that they'd know how many restarts you're going to go through.
it's a simple game that get's EXCRUCIATINGLY difficult on its higher levels. but i find that the easiest way through the levels is to maintain the same space as your counterpart. if you can mirror the moves of your friend you can effectively be there when he's chased by blue objects (his weakness,...
We're talking about games here. Not Olympic triathletes. The whole superiority/inferiority game is getting old. Does inferior graphics stop DS/wii from selling? And by no means should 360 ever really be considered inferior.
Just say that you don't like the game/console. But at least be a decent person and do your research before bashing.
If you get your hands/eyes/brain on Schizoid I'm sure you'd turn around pretty quick! And then there's Geometry Wars, which I didn't thin...
It's good stuff people! I have purchased
Schizoid (whoa...good game)
Geometry Wars (i should have waited for the new one)
Switchball (a pretty good game really)
Small arms (smash bros wannabe, but who can't live without smash bros, right?)
Sonic 2 (brings back childhood memories)
There's a few others I have, plus one xbox originals game (guilty gear x2).
All in all, it's a great service and something that I'll keep an eye on more ...
Open a new checking account and just use the debit card associated with it.
I liked the conecpt of more players online...back in tribes. But it made me realize how much better it is to have fewer people to have to wait on for a session. Can you imagine waiting in the lobby for 60 people to be all in the same place? And then, when you're all together how long would the match last for? In LAN fests everyone's all in one room anyway, but over the net things can be tiresome.
Also, 60 people is a lot of people to shoot through in a "last man standing&quo...
So, why many ps3 fans commenting?
So, why so many ps3 fans commenting?
keep proving me right.

im almost afraid to go online in SC4 or gears. they're just too animalistic in these online matches, no sportsmanship whatsoever. you might come across the few good people out there sooner or later, but not before you've been owned like 35534323423times. sure, maybe that means you're not a frigign bloodsport gladiator friggin survivalist, but i don't think online gaming ever should have been that way.
we should all carry a number next to our names here on n4g. this number should indicate how much of a fanboy we are, so that people rated a high index would indeed deservedly be called fanboys, and those with neutral or low scores should be given more bubbles for trying to keep the peace and being more civil.
stop making the mistake of insulting an entire nation for its few osamas.
ps3 is a good console
yeah, the roadrunner's pretty fast. but they also strung together amd opterons in there too. read a little bit further into as to why they did that. basically, it's because specialized processors like cell/cellBE(ps3 version) aren't that well suited for general purposes. and to say that the cell in those system is the same as the cellBE in ps3 isn't totally accurate. obviously they have a bigger budget and can afford higher performance versions of cell. i think that's what they have in there,...
second hand sales leads to unaccounted-for revenues that developers/movie producers DON'T get to see. the money goes to the parties involved, or in the case of a pawnshop/game store they go to the proprietors. i buy ALL my games retail, i roll out cold hard cash/credit/check, whatever it takes i pay FULL price. plus, you get a more professional experience than to go through all those scratched-up discs and ghetto/fugly boxes.
the article is posted under both ps3 and 360. which attracted both sides to go at it once again. so that explains all the hating that's been going on. flame bait, need i say more.
sony fanboys, lay off the hate. just say you don't like 360, DON'T cross the line and start calling names. relax, you've proven your point and now have that much less to say, what good is it to repeat the same tiresome refrain over and over.
and what's with all this rape stuff? are you guys...
For those who accuse MS of being money grubby bastards who are only in it for the profits, I don't see NPO anywhere in Sony's history either.
And to put it bluntly, if you're not in it for the money than you're not a capitalist. We all go to our jobs expecting our salaries/wages. Gaming is a more expensive hobby than movies and music combined, $60 for the latest releases. Face it: game developers are making money hand over fist on these prices.
SC4's great and I think the character creation aspect has become truly refined. I spent hours just trying to balance out the ability points and trying different character styles to get different stat boosts.
That's one thing that I'm never going to stress enough as a reason just to pick up SC4. And of course there's the whole package: tons of charcters to chose from, lot's of replay value (friggin astronomic replay value) and some of the best choreography I've ever seen in a figh...
