you guys need to try out MS Virtual PC 2007. Really good stuff. Instead of going through the hassle of a dual boot, you basically create a "virtual" PC (with its own vHDD, vRAM, and vLAN) and you can get xp to run INSIDE of your Vista environment. It will run seamless and without problems. Here's the rundown:
1:get xp's files off of the disc and copy to a location on your pc
2:get any service packs drivers (ie for SATA drives)

I bought a 360 Premium when it came out and sure having to look at those prices for an optional 120 gb makes ME want to punch a baby too. So, fvck it! I'm buying an Elite later on this year anyway. And besides, anyone with Media Center can trim the need for more space by keeping all of their media on a central pc that shares its media wired or wifi.

I was think maybe more like a cable with enough slack that it can be spaced maybe a few inches to at MOST a foot. Or, even better build bluetooth into the controller itself (is it there already?) and have the device communicate that way.
The possibilities are friggin endless, they just need to launch off of the drawing board.
Whoever thinks that everybody is just copying off of each other, think about it: that's how some of the better innovations stay in the industry. They get widely accepted and viewed as what to shoot for when designing something similar, or something based off the original idea.
Gaming is for the future, driven by progression as determined by customer feed-back and good analysis of the customers you intend to serve, as well as of the market you intend to penetrate.

I hope they have something similar in the works for Zune, or it will quickly fall behind. Now, itunes sux MAJORLY so to me there's no better media library/store than Zune Marketplace. It's also fully integrated with your Xbox Live account, so your points are universally accessible across both.
But without an App Store-like option in the Zune, iPhone/iPod Touch still has an edge. I have the 80gb Zune Touch.

That sounds interesting. But I don't think "virtual vices" should start making their way onto consoles. If you really want to keep it away from kids, you'd just leave it where it is now: porn sites that need credit cards. Yes, kids still get through that. And they get it through file sharing apps too.

I wasn't really hoping for this game to be all that great, but it sure did play great in the demo. Not every game is a winner! Just play the games that appeal to you, since it's your money. If people want to say that it's better than Halo3/MGS4, then let them. Maybe for them those two games (really high achievements in their respective categories) just didn't appeal to them. You're probably running graphics programs, video editing, and audio suites. And you're probably doing it all at once. If Vista leaves me with about 40-45% of my 2gb and I've got IE7/Firefox3 loaded as well as my Zune software (for wifi syncing to my Zune 80) and MCX loaded (for Media Center on my 360) and can still have my Norton Antivirus scan at its regular intervals without effecting GUI performance (read/writes to HDD will still obviously be kinda slow), I'd say I'm pretty well set!
