yah
If KillZone2 really has this much balls than why hasn't it attracted Halo 3's following? It would make sense that any game claiming to be superior to Halo would at least be able to produce the same level of interest and sales as Halo. But it doesn't, and it won't. 200,000+ players online daily is something most console online shooters can't touch. Because they can't touch Halo.
The truth is that KillZone was never anything more than Sony catching up with Halo. And their idea of...
Oh, yeah I could say that. But I'm saying this because it's healthier.
You know it's true.
I went on Halo 3 just yesterday...200000 players easy.
On topic, I thought PS3 gamers didn't really go for DLC. Sometimes the fanboys would say they'd rather have it on disc, but what do most of you guys think? I like to download maps and other stuff when it's available.
A PC Halo 3 could potentially erase all existance as we know it. It would undo the world.
God of War fails since the guy is not true to his ethnicity. He's not mediterranian, he's an Americanized blood soaked Rambo. I don't contribute to games that seek to measure the full weight of their significance in blood and gore. Mass Effect has more class, and a better cause. But that's my opinion, to each his own. Pick your poison, whatever floats your boat or finds your lost remote.
I wrote that comment 45 mins ago...hopefully you haven't been sitting there wating for the response lol.
You're missing the point dude. By making it a confrontation of one game versus another you're not actually appreciating a game for what it should be. You're merely picking an aspect of one game and asking me to do the same for another game.
You're not comparing games in the end, you're just comparing what you see in one game versus what I see in another. You'r...
I think you guys have the wrong perspective altogether on this gen. Microsoft came from a short lived first Xbox to an amazing second wind with Xbox 360. They pioneered everything that defined this generation of gaming, so naturally the media took to 360 with considerable interest in what Microsoft had to offer.
Sony...what they believed in was that for their 3rd generation all they had to do was emulate what made them win the previous two: support a new disc format. If Xbox 36...
It's just your opinion that they game looks great. But real games become the best not because of graphics but because of the entire experience. As a single player game it won't entertain gamers for long.
Yeah...they entertain us, but they're doing it for the money lol.
God of War 3 looks good, but you guys are seriously hyping it graphics too much. Many of you guys don't understand game development; what you're seeing isn't always what you THINK you're seeing. Making games look and feel epic is something GoW's developers are known for. I think graphics should always be second to content, GoW 3 hopefully will have a good story throughout.
I'm glad for PS3 owners, it certainly looks like the game's going to be worth the wait. It's not my kind of game, but I won't let that stop me from saying it looks good. With a demo out it's like free advertising, lots of people will be interested once they play the demo.
Game developement has different job titles with different pay grades, just like working in the cinema. Extras in movies don't make what the stars make, and support crew are somewhere in the middle. Camera men and technicians get the making-of documentaries, while directors, producers, actors and actresses get to hype the movie with scripted "this is going to be the greatest movie ever" segments.
Realism is what the gamers want, especially in combat games. But I don't think it's so bad to let kids play as long as you're there as a parent to gauge their reaction to it all. Being a parent doesn't mean completely shielding bad content from your kids. You just have to be there as a guide, since essentially you're they're biggest influence. Kids will gain more bad habits from their parents and peers than from gaming.
Yep...about all that can be said of KillZone 2 lol.
I can actually name 20 first gen games that look better than Uncharted, but what's the point? All you PS3 fanboys care about is graphics, it doesn't ever occur to you that the most successful GAMES don't rely on just one aspect.
I'd love to think that Sony's constant chanting of graphics over everything else hasn't completely withered away the fact that gamers buy games becuase they're looking for a great experience, the whole package not just something that blinks pretty color...
I don't understand the logic behind this so called "momentum" PS3 fans are talking about.
*Sony may have a released a slim model at the price that everyone wants it at, but they're still the same company that hasn't completely addressed the casual market. Coming out with their Gem controller might help since it'll be the closest thing to the Wiimote and will draw people who want the same thing. But they haven't changed their image, they're still all about "doing ...
Alternative sources listed and posted by a PS3 fanboy with an obvious name.
Nuff said.
Prerendered just means that what you're seeing is a video saved on the disc and that it's not being rendered in actual 3D graphics. And CG can almost mean the same thing if you use it the way most people use it, but it's not a synonym at all. CG means Computer Generated, which is what they say in film making to distinguish anything that's been made by a computer. CG is usually (duh) a movie in that case, but the graphics themselves can be considered CG as well.
You guys talk about Halo fans as if the only reason they buy the game is because someone else did. But when the same magnitude of sales is said of a PS3 game suddenly it's like they're all Harvard graduates driving Lexuses and solving medical issues.
PS3 fanboys don't have any better tastes or opinions than Xbox 360 fanboys. They're not any better at anything, 10 million of anything is a very mixed bag and you can't speak for each individual sale. I bought Halo 3 because I want...
