I think that came of a little different than I meant it. (Didn't mean the Nintendo flair stuff)
Platinum is a very talented game studio. Baynoetta 2 is their baby and they deserve the praise and credit.
But I am of the honest believe that they as a developer also profited from having Nintendo as a publisher.
Not only in terms of funding, but also terms of consultation and philosophy - namingly the very high emphasis on quality (in all asp...
Bayonetta 2 would be my top choice too.
Hope Devil's Third profits from the 'touch of Nintendo' the same way as Bayonetta 2 did.
Would love to see a remake of Xenogears with a remastered second part.
In respect to the subject, the word 'xenophobia' gains an entirely new meaning XD
X - aka Xenoblade Chronicles X is the next entry in Tetsuya Takahashi's Xeno-series.
Bayonetta has me completely sucked up in her universe.
Finished the first last weekend and having now a blast playing through the second. The soundtrack still plays in my head!
This bundle alone has given me my moneys worth for buying the console.
Thank you Nintendo and Platinum for bestowing me with such an awesome experience.
Bayonetta 2 has defiantly been my favourite this year.
Well, mine definitely is Bayonetta 2.
I really love the designs and art style they have shown so far for this game. Imo you can really tell these guys are top tier at their profession.
Btw, that's quite a cool thumbnail picture. Haven't seen that before.
I wasn't referring to the complaints people had about the character design.
I'm talking about the close up low-res textures and geometry in some areas of the game.
I agree. It's just getting tiresome.
Pachter saying something positive about Nintendo?!... The end is nigh! Prepare for the Armageddon!
This 'downgrading' seems to be a thing these days. Can't remember it being a buzz word in the past really. Sure it's not in peoples heads?
In all seriousness. People are a bit over-sensible when it comes to pre-release footage. I know there has been a certain company or two that repeatedly stepped over the line, but c'mon guys.
Something similar for example happened to Xenoblade X when they showed the story trailer at this years E3 and we ...
Right now, this game takes my No 1 top spot of most awaited games.
Seriously. The art design, the music, the shear size of the world...
Can't wait to experience Takahashi's next epic!
As far as we know, he won't be in it.
Xenoblade Chronicles X has been confirmed at the E3 Treehouse presentation to be a spiritual successor.
And thankfully so. The original Xenobalde features a very satisfying ending. Something many games these days don't have the luxury of. A continuation is needless and would only ruin it.
No mention of Xenoblade X is an automated fail!
It should not take a miracle. As far as I know Xenoblade X is still scheduled for 2015 in the west.
That being said, Xenobalde X is by far the game I'm most excited about.
This game is by far my most anticipated game!
No shame in that.
But I think, regarding the state of the industry, we often don't have the luxury anymore to dismiss games that are of above average quality (even though they may not be exactly our cup of tea).
