Actually even I buy all my game-copies in France. and I don't even live there. Amazon-Fr just has the best deals.
En fonction des jeux, les français ont un goût excelent!
The original Xenoblade featured dual audio. Hope X will too.
For the instance I'm one of the people who really enjoyed the British English dub. But there were also many who liked playing the game in Japanese. Best case for everyone!
As is Bayonetta 2
This game truly is special.
State of the industry in a nutshell.
Acknowledged. That is the single most critical issue in regards to online for me too.
I, my family and friends use Skype, Hangouts, etc as workaround.
But I'm not sure if the lack of proper voice chat hasn't more to do with Nintendo's parental policy TBH.
Absolutely! BC is a blessing.
Also the controller support is awesome. Being able to simply use the old wii remotes + classic controller, proved to be a life saver during Christmas holidays, when friends came over and we wanted to play 4 player-Mario Kart 8.
Only gripe I have with the BC is that disc-based Wii titles that support the classic controller can not be played with the Wii U pro controller.
I will not click any news from Xenoblade X anymore that are any what related to the lore or story.
I can't risk to get anything spoiled anymore beyond what we already know.
This is like single most important game release for me since like I don't know for how many years and I want to experience it in the purest most unbiased form humanly possible.
Bayonetta 2 has me deeply impressed this year*.
Also that it came bundled with a high quality port of Bayonetta 1 is still unbelievable for me.
The value in quality and content of this package is just insane.
*Edit: Well, last year. It's 2015 now, lol
Frankly speaking Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros. Wii U and Bayonetta 2 have been the most satisfying gaming and online experiences on console for me this year.
I think, for the things Nintendo does wrong compared to other companies, they get an awful lot of things right that are very important to me, like:
- High quality and fun gameplay as No.1 priority
- Very high quality and polished software with few launch issues
- Free online
- ...
Xenoblade has my top spot.
So excited! My most anticipated game by far.
My thoughts too.
If you have honest trust in the product or company (no self fooling!), I don't see any problem with pre-ordering.
Regarding the usual suspects (*cough* EA, Ubisoft, ...) however, I make a wide detour around their products for at least 3 months and wait until the dust has settled.
If you have a Wii U, try it there. The Wii U doesn't directly scale up Wii games but the HDMI output pleasantly improves the image quality of Wii games on HD screens.
The original Xenoblade is the best game I've played in the last 10 years.
But TBH I wish they'd rather release it as a Wii DL title on the Wii U with gamepad and pro controller support than on the N3DS. A HD remake would be even better.
Anyway, glad Nintendo realized how important this game is.
@Summons75
hole heartily agree
*cough* Localisation in general. Not only US.
That being said; awesome news.
The problem is that sales don't necessarily reflect the overall quality or artistic value of a game.
Similar to movies (see academy awards), highly critically acclaimed games are very prestigious and therefore very valuable to a publisher.
It's of course important how a game performs commercially, but I'd say, if a publisher values his brand he'd be equally interested in his game's public perception and artistic value and therefore should ...
I'm madly in love with Bayonetta 2. Glad it gets the recognition it deserves.
Les français simplement connaissent qu'est-ce qu'il est bien. Pour ça ils achètent beaucoup des produits de Nintendo et Sony.
