LOL, love how they feature a screen shot from the cockpit view of a Star Citizen-ship and slap "Star Wars: Battlefront" on it.

TBH, I too have a hard time to imagine Zelda still coming out this year.
It's without a doubt a very good game. (Haven't played it yet, but I'm a big Dark Souls fan).
But like Bayonetta 2, it's not the type of game that is enjoyed by the mainstream gamer.
Let's see.
Not counting any remasters, so far mine are:
Smash Bros., Arena Commander and Bayonetta 2.
Curious about Bloodborne and looking forward to Pillars of Eternity and Torment: Tides of Numenera.
X in Japan often stands for "cross" as far as I've heard. So maybe X/"cross" for "cross platform"? Wasn't that also indicated by that diagram?
Great read. I would say this very nicely describes how I fell about Nintendo too.
If the graphic obsession of mainstream gamers doesn't end, you can never have both, as companies will continue to strive for maximum graphic fidelity at the cost of everything else.
@vishmarx:
Oh, I and most likley everyone else cares about graphics.
However what most people fail to realize is that 'great graphics' come at a cost.
Many, if not most AAA games these days waste their development budget, time and/or hardware capabilities to achieve the high-end graphics the main stream gamer has learned to demand and expect. Aside of budget and time, they do this at the cost of asset density, gameplay fidelity, quali...
You might not like the design, but actually, those images look pretty good IMO.
Seriously, the attitude of some guys here is really laughable.
Frankly, personally I don't care if a game has 'not so good graphics', if the things that matter are next to flawless, like: gameplay, art design, writing, story-telling, content, ... (unlike *cough* a certain other more recent next gen game)
I don't know about you guys, but I didn'...
There are not enough games that fulfil my quality standards though.
It has not been strictly ruled out, but considering the current projected scale and fidelity, the chances of consoles being able to handle the full title are zero to none IMO.
Anyway, though it's a bit older, you can find the official response of the maker on the matter here:

Very exited!
Next week (most likely) they'll be releasing a major update to the flight module. Below the superficial stuff like the inclusion of FPS animations/mechanics, a rental system for ships and equipment and new flight and ship mechanics, there will be major updates under the hood laying the groundwork for big features, like handling of massive scale environments and assets, multi-crew ships, ...
No fix date for the official release - fortunately. They shall take all the time they need to do this properly.
That being said, best ETA is currently late 2016 / early 2017.
(Supporters can play/tests bits of the game (modules) already, but it's still all pre-alpha)
Coming from the N64, I was expecting a lot more from the GameCube too.
I understand why many were disappointed with the Wii. Personally though can't be disappointed with it as it holds my most favourite game of all time: Xenoblade Chronicles. That game alone was worth owning the console for and there is no other game since the PSX, N64, PS2-era that left me this satisfied.
Unlike most of the rest the industry has to offer, Star Citizen is a game that is going to push boundaries.
Considering the scale and detail this game is aiming for, 100GB sounds pretty 'compact' to me, if you ask me.
Good chance I'm going to use a dedicated SSD just for this baby.
Can't wait to build my new PC next year ^^
Thoroughly enjoying currently:
- Star Citizen (Arena Commander V1.0.3)
- Arma 3
- Total War: Rome II
- Skyrim (+mods)
- Planetside 2
- War of the Roses
- Baldur's Gate Remaster
- plus 3rd party games in 1080p and 60+ fps
Super exited for:
- the upcoming Star Citizen FPS-module and AC update!
- Pillars of Eternity (released on march 26!)
- Torment: Tides of Numenera
Thx for the reply. Ok so 'Soul voice' does that.
I don't really watch any trailers anymore as I am terrible afraid of spoilers.
Is there any info on how story and cut-scene dialogues will be handled?
'Soul Voice'? Is that the main character? So does he speak a little in dialogues and cut-senses after all?
(Currently replaying the original XC, and I have a hard time to imagine how a silent protagonist could work, without compromising the story telling)
It might seem disappointing at first glance, but a delay is probably for the better.
Considering how rudimentary the shown build looked, a 2015 release didn't appear very likely to begin with, unless they would have tuned down the quality or content.
