They sure cranked up the advertising to 11 leading up to its release, all the while knowing the game was broken/not good. Now they apologize as if they didn't see this coming, as if they didn't know the state the game was in.
For sure, there are so many great games to play. This has been the best generation for me, there is always something to play and more games to come. The online that hates everything crowd has distorted alot of gamers view on reality.

From my very limited understanding, Ray tracing has the potential to free up compute resources and speed up development time. I don't think it's just a matter of "looking better" there other benefits that come with it.
Im a graphics whore, and how in developers pursuit of fast frames etc dont forget that it is graphical presentation that attracts the publics eye first. Demons Souls was like that for me, made me feel that the ps5 was a big upgrade over the ps4.

Let's not rewrite history here, most of those games were already being made by third parties (going to be on playstation anyways) before Microsoft bought them in the last 4 years. It's games that Microsoft was producing before they bought 2 giant publishers that mostly sucked, you know it and I know it.

That GoW live service game was the dumbest idea ever. I thought they were remaking Bloodbourne or a Demons souls expansion (covering that broken arch stone). Sony was really panicked after that abk/Microsoft news hit. I hope it was a side project for Bluepoint and that there's another one in the pipeline. That GoW game apparently never got off the ground.

Silly article. Square has been making games related to the FF ip since forever it is natural over the course of decades that they'd change things up and try something different. If Clair Obscur ever gets to its 1 millionth game in the franchise, I'd expect them to do the same thing to at some point.
