Switch 2 i could see being a tougher sell early if there are alot of cross gen titles for the first couple of years. New consoles usually get alot of hype because people want to get their hands on them for the graphics they can produce (which hasn't been an Nintendo thing for awhile) or a new way to play like the original switch. There has been a massive propaganda campaign online that pc gaming is this massive and growing sector of the industry. The reality is that pc growth as largely been stagnant and the poor sales numbers of the steam deck (which has been raved about as being this huge success by pc gamers and media) prove that pc gaming is not necessarily "the future of gaming" as many pretend it to be.

This is a great result, I know I've been enjoying my ps5/ps5pro this past year. So many great games to play. I don't have an Xbox but I'm sure there are many great games to play on it to. I think the constant bitterness/complaining online about the state of gaming by many journalists and Youtubers presents a distorted view of how good things are now.
@Zeke68, that sucks. I believe the game is now available on ps plus. Maybe delete your game and download it off the plus catalog. I've beaten demons souls maybe three times but when I was setting up my ps5 pro I think the file was corrupted somehow. But when I downloaded it off of plus it seemed to resolve the issue. For sure. I know some didn't like how punishing it was, but I liked the challenge. Best weapons in a game for me this gen.

The order had some great potential and looked stunning, but the boss battles were terrible amongst other weaknesses in the gameplay. I understand why they didn't greenlight a sequel. Felt like the developer mailed it in with some portions of the game.

PC big mouths talk alot but the numbers show it is a smaller revenue generator for 3rd parties than Nintendo and PlayStation platforms. You'll often hear about billions of potential pc customers but this was never true, only a fraction use their pcs for gaming and even then amongst that group taste very wildy with many preference being to steal.
@Tacoboto, calm down. Microsoft announced their intent to buy abk in January 2022. That caused a big decline in Sony stock, because investors feared the ramifications of the abk purchase. Doesn't matter what games were in development, just that Sony had a plan and annouced it publically. Besides actual development of the god of war Gass game only started after raganarok released in November 2022.
I think the premature announcement of the 12 lives service games in development was an overreaction to Microsofts announcement of their intent to by abk.
