It'll be a long, long time before games consoles are capable of CG movie graphics. High end gaming PCs that are more powerful than the PS4 are nowhere near capable of CG quality. Perhaps in the 10th gen. I wouldn't be surprised if in the run up to the 9th gen people started spouting rumours that the PS5 could run graphics that look like they were from the film 'Avatar'
KH3 on Wii U would actually make sense as there are more KH games on Nintendo consoles than Sony ones.

@Rockefellow, it was proven to be false. One person started off saying it was taking hours and then when they turned it off because they got bored it bricked and everyone jumped on it putting it in their blogs and suddenly everyone believed it.
First of all, if it took hours to update it wasn't the console, you have a terrible connection. Mine updated in about 45 mins, I only know a couple of people with one and their's took around about an hour.

His job is 'analyst', what is he analysing to think the 8th gen is the last? If there was no 9th gen the gaming industry would crash, does he think everyone will suddenly just become PC gamers?
Most of the money the gaming industry makes is through console hardware/software, most of the developers in the industry prefer developing for consoles than PCs/tablets/smartphones etc.
Console gaming IS gaming and in 2020 when 9th gen consoles hit the market...
You should compare launch titles of the PS4 with the latest games on PS3, that's a fair comparison and shows the difference between what we have now and what we'll have by the end of the year. You might as well be comparing PS4 launch titles with PS1 launch titles.

There are TWO updates, the one that was recently released was to help with the stability of the console, it was NOT supposed to do anything for the speed of the OS AT ALL. There is a bigger update coming in the next few months that is supposed to speed up the console.

I agree with most of them but the two Mario games don't count as we know there won't be another NSMB game or a Mario Kart game until the 9th gen.
As for Lego games, I think they need to slow down but not necessarily take a break, I mean Lego City Undercover seems to be a completely fresh take on the Lego formula so we can let them off since it's not same old, same old like CoD.

It'd only be weird because Kratos would die before the battle begun thus making the game impossible to beat.
I have no doubt the PS4 and 720 will suffer those problems but that doesn't say anything about Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo. Pretty much every console ever released has had most of those problems at launch. They'll all move on from those problems and flourish.
The reason it's hard to tell most Wii U games apart from PS360 is completely down to the developers. The Wii U has been proven to be capable of graphics much better than 7th gen consoles but developers can't be bothered to put the effort in.
