The setting of the game has been a rumour for a long time and hasn't been confirmed although it would be pretty cool I imagine their next game will continue on where Arkham City left off. This year does seem quite likely and it'll most likely come to all console available at the time of release (PS3, PS4, Wii U, 360, PC). And last but not least I'll be buying it day one.
Definitely not, they have enough money in the bank to have a few failed consoles. If the Wii U does flop (which I honestly don't think it will, look at how rocky the PS3's life started out compared to it now) Nintendo could easily pick up the pieces and try again, learning from their mistakes.
The only reason there's so much hate on websites like this one is because the community is infested with Sony fanboys.
The sooner MS are out of the industry the better.
Nintendo is Banjo's home, no one else deserves it.
Actually I think the transition to next gen will be quite a slow one. A lot of people are wanting to stick with PS3/360 as they still hold up after all this time. Obviously it won't be AS slow and painful for Sony and MS as it is for Nintendo right now but the beginning of the 8th gen won't be smooth sailing for anyone unfortunately.
This is the first bad review I've seen for this game, it looks like a fantastic game. I guess I'll find out for myself tomorrow.
My problem with a game getting 10/10 is that it basically means the game is perfect, flawless. But that's not the case, although it is a brilliant game as with every other game ever made it has flaws. No game can ever truly be 10/10.
It's definitely confirmed for the Wii U, Ubisoft are being really good with it so far, I hope their support continues.
Of course they do, it doesn't necessarily need to be the same size as Disney World. Like even just from Mario they can squeeze out things themed on Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Toad etc. and there's quite a few lesser known IPs they have, Nintendo World would be brilliant.
If the game released when it was supposed to and only on Wii U like it was supposed to then yes I'm sure it would shift quite a few systems but not many people are going to by a Wii U to play this game when they probably have a PS3/360 already. Not to mention the fact that it's original release date didn't have too much competition now it has to go up against games like Watch Dogs, Black Flag, Pokemon X&Y, GTAV etc. It'll probably do as well on all platforms combined now a...
Don't forget Watch Dogs as well, it looks like a great game and if Ubisoft use the Gamepad well it could be the best version.
I'll definitely pick this up mainly just to support the effort they've gone to. Not a lot of devs are taking the risk of putting effort into the Wii U because of the low sales so the ones that do deserve their games getting bought.
Because of the millions of Euros Sony are pouring into their bank account, end of story.
I can imagine that's right. From all the backlash of the idea I doubt either of them will block used games.
Based on 0 evidence.
I really wouldn't. When you count up the games coming out for the 3DS this year (retail, indie, Nintendo re-releases, shovelware etc.) there is probably a similar amount, probably the same with Ps3, 360 and Wii U as well. There will probably be only 10-20 games worth getting on all of those consoles.
I'm not hating on the Vita here I'm just saying what will probably happen, maybe I'll be wrong. I doubt it though, think back on the 7th gen, when was there a ye...
That's not that many when you think about it, that includes indie games, re-releases of PS1 games and shovelware. Of the 100 games released this year they'll only be between 10-20 worth considering if that. Quality > quantity.
Hopefully but after all this time it's highly likely we'll never see it and if we do it won't be this gen.
It makes you wonder what the industry would be like if Sony hadn't tried to con Nintendo.
