The saddest part is that by the end of the year there will be worse games released than those two.
This game just get more appealing the more I see of it, I imagine I'll be putting a lot of hours into it. It's a shame the demo isn't out on Wii U so I can see what it's like on that console though.

I'm hoping they do add some DLC characters. I want them to put the rest of the Teen Titans into the game.
I imagine Wii U sales are going to pick up when the 1st party content comes along. By the end of the 8th gen it'll probably be close between Sony and Nintendo (like the 7th gen is with MS and Sony now) with Sony ultimately winning in the end and Microsoft trailing far behind.
I think one of the big 3 might drop out of the console business at the end of the upcoming generation and it'll probably be Microsoft. If any of them were to drop out I think MS would be the lea...

There is nothing worse than people who use the term 'real gamer', all gamers are 'real' gamers. You have to be really insecure to have to try convince people you're a 'real' gamer rather than some sort of fake gamer.
This is shaping up to be a great addition to the Wii U library, yes it may be a port but with the amount of effort going into it it's worth the price tag.

@MasterCornholio, it's not exactly strange. Aliens was universally panned by consumers and critics alike, pretty much no one liked it not even Gearbox themselves. I doubt we'll ever see the Wii U version because they know anyone who wanted it for Wii U will have seen the outcome of the original release.
Well said, there does seem to be a big problem with creativity in the industry these days. I guess it must be hard to come up with new ideas since it feels like everything has already been done but it doesn't really seem like devs are trying to create new experiences anymore.
This is one of my most anticipated titles of the year. I just wish someone would make a game as good as this with Marvel characters or even less likely Marvel vs DC.
I'm not making excuses for anyone, yes Nintendo will have the weakest console this gen but the Wii U is still pretty powerful. I'm assuming it's Epic that are unwilling just like 4A Games (the makers of Last Light) who made up excuses about the Wii U's GPU (that have been proven wrong by companies such as Criterion)so people didn't think they were being unwilling or too lazy to give the new console a chance.

Did you read what I put? I never said whether I thought it was good or not. All I said is that it makes you wonder. Maybe it would be like you said or maybe it wouldn't, maybe with Sony and Nintendo working together they'd push the industry forward more than either of them have alone. We'll never know but there's no reason to rant at me like I was hating on either of the companies.
PS4 was never going to have 4K. They aren't going to jump from a console that can't handle native HD to 4K in one gen.
"Wii U 'unable' to take on these new technologies", Wii U could handle tech such as Unreal Engine 4. Engine's can be customised to suit the needs of the platform they're being used on. It's not that it's unable to take it on, it's that Epic are unwilling to make their engine work on Wii U.
No loading screens between islands, getting on/off your ship etc. obviously there will still be loading screens when you go on missions.
