360 and PS3 didn't thrash Xbox and PS2 out of the box so why would you expect any different for this gen? Not to mention 'not being too expensive to manufacture' have you not heard about the state of the world's economy compared to 2006. Give it time.
Graphically inferior, yet superior in fun and innovation.
Nintendo will do what they've always done. Carry on doing whatever they want to do, not caring about what the others are doing, not caring about about sticking to industry standards whilst Sony and Microsoft scramble about to outdo each other like always.
The thing that gets me more than the argument about the analog sticks being above the buttons is the argument about Nintendo ripping off Microsoft's A, B, X, Y set up and switching them around.
Hicken, Of course the PS3 has to do with it. Writing about one of the 'big three' means the conversation is open to mentioning their competitors.
ONM staff are paid to review games. Gamestop staff are paid to sell games. Who are you going to trust?
I'm glad the games I'm getting are both gold.
I haven't actually heard anything that bad from people who have actually played the console. The only negative things I've heard are from people who haven't even been in the same room as it.
It's not quite as black and white as all this. We need each other. Nintendo needs us for their profit, we need them because... well because they're the greatest thing to happen to the gaming industry since it began.
The article makes a tiny mention about racing games at the bottom, why isn't the whole article about racing games? The only reason digital triggers matter is racing games. The triggers on the Wii U are actually more realistic for FPS games as no matter how much pressure you put on a gun trigger it's not going to shoot any more or any less bullets.
@TripC50, if everyone was 'normal' gaming probably wouldn't exist. The internet probably wouldn't either. In fact most of your favourite things in the world probably wouldn't either. Normality is the enemy of creativity.
Whoever wrote this article should not be allowed to call themselves a gamer.
I don't know what to do about this game, it gets 9/10 here but ONM gave it 62%. Guess I'll have to get it and decide for myself.
Check ebay or Amazon, I'm sure they'll have cheap PS2s.
I'm sure my girlfriend would love to play on it, if she existed...
They aren't Microsoft...
This is why it should be ported to Wii U, it could play on one disc with no installs.
Just when I thought I couldn't want this game any more than I already do.
Well the gamepad has clicky analogs like the R3/L3 buttons. Guessing it'd be Z or C for a Nintendo console. I'm pretty sure every button on the pro controller is the same.
It's been obvious since the Wii U was first announced that EA don't like it, they're not going to make a good port for a console they dislike.
