They definitely should release PC and Wii U ports, they might not make as much money from them as 360 and PS3 versions but they'll definitely make the money for the ports back and help establish Wii U's third party support which in turn would make more people buy the console meaning future R* releases on the console would be a worthwhile investment, make a little bit of money now and a lot in the future. They'd be stupid not to.
Have you got any proof of these claims? Nobody outside of Nintendo knows the full RAM, CPU and GPU so unless you're Iwata in disguise don't make random assumptions and claim them as fact.
Most Nintendo owners want a good mixture between core and casual. A console where I can go from Pikmin to GTA V is a winner in my books.
Yeah because lack of graphics bit them in the ass with the Wii didn't it?
All of Sony's departments are in big trouble, if their gaming department goes down they can't rely on other departments in fact even if Sony's gaming department is successful next gen there probably won't be a PS5/6. Nintendo could afford to make huge losses for the next few generations and still be able to make consoles.
Wii U is for those who enjoy everything gaming has to offer instead of just 'core' titles.
PS3/360 launch titles mainly looked better because they were in HD so it tricked people into thinking they were amazingly better but they weren't. You never know how good graphics a console is capable of until it's been out for a couple of years.
@Janitor, The launch titles on a console are never much better than the last games on the generation before it. Wait till this time next year or the year after then we'll see what the Wii U can really do.
If this update eats up your bandwidth you need to talk to your ISP.
I think Nintendo announced that it uses the same memory which is a shame, when I first heard about the update I thought that it might have separate memory for it but the units were packed and ready to be shipped ages ago and they were still working on the applications within the firmware update in the past couple of weeks, that's why they didn't announce how big the update would be because nobody knew.
Yeah but you don't have to get a 1GB one, I'm probably just going to get 300-500GB hard drive for mine so it won't cost too much, it's better to have the option to have as much or as little memory as you want.
Most of those flash games on FB etc. won't use flash in the next few years don't worry.
That's because a lot of smartphones are built with browsing in mind because more people use phones to go online than games consoles. Games consoles are built with gaming in mind with everything else just a nice addition. The way it should be.
Not supporting Flash is a good thing, it uses stupid amounts of memory and is so unstable it almost laughable. Most people are opting for HTML5 over Flash these days and in the next few years Flash will become obsolete.
I wish.
I'm sure it will be when it's been out as long as the PS3 has.
I haven't seen any mid ranged reviews for this game, they seem to be really high or really low. I guess ZombiU is the Wii U's marmite.
Because they don't have money to throw around? If they waste a bit of money on it now and it makes the console look rubbish they have an excuse not to develop for the console in the future.
I imagine Sony and Microsoft would quit the gaming business if they had a failed console whereas Nintendo have enough cash to come back and try again.
It's probably your favourite because it's the best one.
