Only good game on the list is The World Ends With You and it's not even the best version of the game.
Wii U isn't next gen because it plays ports exactly the same as the 360, which definitely means it's the system that is weak and not Activision who decided not to optimize the game for the new console....
The game was in development long before they began porting it over. They have made it an almost exact copy that's why the Wii U version is only a little bit better than the last gen versions of the game.
It's already here.
Well the current gen is now officially the 8th gen. So it should say "Avalanche Studios looks set to leave the last generation behind by moving onto development for the current gen consoles".
We do, it's called the guy who said his console bricked is a liar. It has been reported that if you turn off your console during the update when you turn it back on there will be a black screen seemingly bricked but it's actually updating, if you leave it like that for a while when it's complete it'll load up the OS. There is a chance it will damage the system just like there is a chance of the PS3 or your 2007 laptop having a problem if you switch it off during an update.
There shouldn't be another Call of Duty*
They didn't come up with that, it's just where their long count calender ends. Basically someone heard about the calender ending this year and mistakenly thought it meant they were predicting the end of the world. A lot of people should thank that guy for all the money they've made from his mistake.
"Oh hey I'm bored of this updating, I know I'll turn off my console even though it warned me not to. What's the worst that can happen?" - 'Murica, fuck yeah!
Basically, there isn't a problem with the console it's just the particular programmer that made the hate article before isn't good enough to work around it. The Wii U is the most powerful console available and it will be for a year or two to come. If you're happy with the last gen consoles you have then I'm happy for you but there is no reason to bash on the Wii U because you have some kind unreasonable hatred for Nintendo. No one buys a Nintendo console expecting state of...
I learned that there are a lot of Sony/MS fanboys on this site that like to bash Nintendo and quote misinformation to make the Wii U look worse than it actually is even on positive Wii U articles. It's seems these immature people can't accept that companies other than their favourite are capable of making good products.
@MEsoJD, the full speed of the RAM isn't currently known so there is no way of knowing if it slower all we know about the RAM is that it's 4x as big. We know the GPU is much better than last gen consoles but the CPU is a bit worse. If the RAM turns out to be faster developers could utilize the RAM and the GPU to bypass the problems with the CPU.
They should make Robin Hood an Assassin.
One of the biggest disappointments was the stagnation of the industry, how most games from the last few years have been unoriginal, unimaginative, uninnovative etc. I'm glad the 7th gen is over, maybe now the 8th gen is here it'll wake developers up.
Force Unleashed was one of my favourite Star Wars games ever. My biggest issue was how short it was, I'd only just got properly into it and suddenly it finished.
I'm fairly certain ZombiU and Ninja Gaiden have more blood/gore than GTA and they have no problem being on the console with no censors. At the end of the day it's the parents responsibility to make sure kids don't play games like this. Game boxes have a rating on them, if it says 18 the only way your kid can play it is if you buy it for them. If you buy them a game with blood/gore, murder, prostitutes, car jacking, drugs etc. you can't get angry at the hardware or the software...
Well it's £10/£20 cheaper than most games depending where you get it from so I think it's worth the money for these minor negatives. I mean you're complaining that it's too hard? Just practise and get better. One of the biggest problems I have with games these days is that they're too easy, they're not built to challenge you and with most racing games they get too easy too quickly, after a few races you're an expert and never lose. This might finally be a...
I'm glad they don't go too much into the specs. A lot of articles go on about how underwhelming the specs are even though no one outside of Nintendo knows much about them.
Just like everyone else you don't know anything about the PS4 so what's the point in trying to hype it up on a Wii U article?
Disagree all you want, have fun with your last gen consoles.
