There's no ETA or pricing on this bundle though.
Remember when the PS Camera was like $99 when it was in short stock? Sony will likely wait a bit so that PS Camera sales surge, soak up the profits, THEN release the all-in-one PSVR bundle.
I don't think a single PS4 could handle TWO PSVR headsets. You'd have to buy whole separate systems for this to work methinks.
This is actually AMAZING considering PC gamers have to be always-online to access the live action portions.
If Remedy didn't give PC players the option to skip the video, then we wouldn't be able to progress until we connected to the internet.
IMO the devs had to do this, it really wasn't a choice. If they didn't make 'em skippable, people would flip out.
Disc, definitely. I love being able to easily reinstall games without having to wait half a day to play a game.
I'm glad the traditional restricted ethos of the console gaming industry is evolving, but it has me worried.
PC gaming is traditionally about freedom, and if Microsoft continues down this path, I very much think we'll start to see the same old restrictive exclusivity applied to Windows PC gaming.
Instead of planning for the future, Microsoft needs to fix the Xbox One completely--that UI is STILL awful--and fix the Windows Store's UWP functionality...
Primal is a really good game. I advise you guys to try it out for yourselves. If you buy it on Steam, play it for a bit, and just refund it if you don't like it.
I absolutely love this game: it's a window to our prehistoric past, and it's SO immersive and beautiful. The characters are awesome, and you can ride a sabertooth tiger or a mammoth while slinging fiery arrows.
Has everyone missed the Remote Play to PC functionality?!
Odd! I played a pre-release version and didn't have any performance issues. At 1440p I was hitting ~50FPS with Ultra settings.
I've been told by a shit ton of people that the Windows Store version doesnt support XD I'm not sure myself as I'm not willing to gamble on it.
I hope this one supports SLI and Crossfire. It probably won't, just like Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I mean seriously, look at the recommended specs for this game...it has "made for enthusiast PC gamers" written all over it!
I have to give props for Microsoft's attempt to redefine the playing field. They can't win in the traditional console game, so now they're making their own.
The only problem is how they're handling it. They're not doing a good job explaining why people still need an Xbox One, and have bad PR/Marketing.
Hell, even Phil Spencer was arguing against frustrated Xbox One gamers. That's a pretty bad move, imo. Even if you feel one way, you do...
The PSVR will likely be limited to just gaming, whereas the Rift and Vive open up a whole galaxy of entertainment options.
I'm not sure of Sony is going to use the PSVR for anything other than PS4-powered video games.
Then there's the lower-end hardware that's powering the PSVR. The PS4 isn't even powerful enough to run VR on its own, so the PSVR comes with a processing box that not only splits the image but boosts graphical power.

What the article should say is: "If you're an Xbox One gamer, consider TRADING IN your console for a PS4". Really though, I've never regretted buying any console more than my Xbox One.
Especially now that it's exclusives aren't exclusive anymore.
Yeah? Hmmm, maybe I'll give it a shot anyway. I'm hearing nothing but good things about it...then again I heard its a bit tough.
Just have to find out for myself, haha
Kind of glad I didn't pull the trigger on XCOM 2! I'm super new to the series, and it sucks to hear it's not newb-friendly :P
Did any of you get the hang of the game, or just quit right away? Just curious. It's not nearly as bad as people are saying, at least imo.
The game doesn't teach you anything, and you have to learn it as you go along, which is super annoying. But it does have its merits.
Actually guys, once you get the hang of it, it's kinda fun. Yeah the lag is terrible, and the frame rate is wonky, but honestly it has some unique mechanics to it.
You can transform your guns into other guns, like taking a stock AR and making it into an LMG on the fly. You can also collect in-game supplies to make homebrew bombs and such, and level up skills to improve your stats, bomb-making skills, and add a second primary.
Another thing I liked about t...
I really love how Ubisoft went all out with the game's lore and history. Also it won't be a linear-based game, and you'll be able to build up your own village.
Tons of new tidbits over at the Ubi blog! http://blog.ubi.com/far-cry...
I'm thinking DX12 integration and/or PC to Xbox game streaming, with Quantum Break debuting both features.
I've read that some games require PS MOve controllers...so I guess it's on a case-by-case basis?
I'm assuming the games will be explicitly marked with notifications when they release so we don't buy something we can't play!
