I've seen Wreck it Ralph, I know the risks.
I'm hoping they cast Tony Danza as the voice of Sonic.
Agree... at most another console that doesn't sell well might mean Nintendo rebrands itself much like Sega did and develops for other consoles.
Not to forget too but both MS and Sony would jump to lock-in exclusive deals for that.
I'm all set on this... I love the game but would prefer a bigger leap in technology before playing a remaster on this title. It looks great on PS3/Xbox 360 already.
Nintendo lunch!
I've wanted to get into Yakuza but haven't had time to go back. I'm hoping this gets a U.S. release as it's the perfect excuse to start.
No. Just no.
Most of the Sega CD launch titles were garbage. Sewer Shark in particular was the worst.
I felt bad for any kid that got CyberMorph with the Atari Jaguar too!
As far as bad launch titles go... this list is soft.
Did you catch it?
I also find the new UI confusing.
Shut up and take my money!
Though you're right PSVR will only have a portion of market share I doubt Netflix is driving PS4 sales. Nearly every Smart TV on the market since 2010 has the app pre-installed.
I have nothing against Oculus but Sony's momentum with PS4 growth makes me think PSVR will become dominant.
The market probably has room for both products though given the difference in platform support.
I can hum the first 7 or 8 notes of a game from 1985 and virtually everyone knows it. Yeah... I miss those days too.
I like this list. I would add that an online offering should be included too. Though that doesn't mean the list needs to change...
Super Mario Galaxy 3 might be a great place for Nintendo to offer true co-op. Metroid is also very ripe for competitive online play.
Though unlikely, virtual console with online 2-player would be a huge boost! It's very possible given emulators have done it for years.
Take that a step further...
Nintendo could encourage early adopters by offering the subscription as a pack-in too!
Nintendo's quality of first party titles is great. Never lose that! However, I would like them to continue exploring new IPs and fostering third-party relationships.
No. I enjoyed it but it was short lived. I'd place PS2 as the top tier. The game selections and sheer amount of classics make it a win.
@SlapHappyJesus
I challenge your claim that "developers as a whole" favor piracy. That's a load of crap.
Piracy does not drive sales. The "I'll buy it if I like it" mentality could easily be applied toward demos or Steam's generous refund policy.
Creators have a right to speak out against piracy of their product. Put yourself in his shoes... you've worked hard on something for five years and tons of people are stealing it.
That sucks any way you look at it!
Though not called "slim", I suspect Sega Master System to be the first. They released a Master System II around the time Genesis came out which was redesigned and removed a card slot that was underutilized.
