GameTap, now that's a name I haven't heard in nearly a decade. Loved that service to death. It was like the spiritual successor to the Sega Channel.
While I'd love for more people to experience the original PDS (It's that damn good) I have a feeling it'll always remain an obscure gem confined to the Saturn.
Yup! They sure did! It's a shame too. The game really was the Saturn's swan song.
Here's hoping this pans out. I'd be buying this day one!
If we ever get another Panzer Dragoon Saga let's hope it's a bit longer than the original's 12 hour story. Still love that game to death despite it's rather truncated narrative.
Rad. Despite the over-the-top fanservice of the original's leveling minigames, Criminal Girls: Invite Only was really solid, with a super addicting and unique combat system. Here's hoping the sequel is even better.
While I see where you're coming from, it seems Sega is trying to listen to fan feedback since the catastrophic reception of Sonic Boom. By publishing games like Game Freak's Tembo The Badass Elephant (don't let the name fool you, it's brilliant)and bringing games like Yakuza V westward, Sega is using their heads a bit more lately.
Skies of Arcadia definitely deserves a sequel, and if there's any chance of Sega resurrecting the series then I'm on board....
Sure, it could happen. But it could also be their worst. At this point we know nothing about the console other than the likelihood that it could launch well before devs have had time to familiarize themselves with the platform.
Nintendo has an uphill battle ahead of them, and they can't find success on first party releases alone. They need to win back the trust of third party developers, big publishers and consumers before they have any chance of returning to their former...
I'm about to put on my badass leather jacket and hoof it to the arcade so I can put on my badass leather jacket and hoof it to the arcade. Meta-gaming at its finest.
But yeah, I have no doubt we'll see a slew of other gems from Yu Suzuki's arcade career in Shenmue 3.
Just a heads up - I know the image is borked. N4G is having some issues and I'll have the article image up as soon as the site lets me.
No worries. Pretty sure we're all dealing with that right now.
Looks like it's fixed.
Just noticed the backend link was selected. Reached out to a mod to get it fixed.
Seriously. Some of those images had me squinting, trying to find jaggies along their silhouettes. I'm not usually interested in cosplay, but this blew my mind.
I figured that would be the case. ATLUS has never shifted their stance from their original commitment to release the game in 2015.
A fanboy? Really? Of the 40+ consoles sitting in my office with me it's hard to think of one I fire up less frequently than my Wii U. Hell, I've probably would've spent more time screwing with my 3DO if it weren't for site assignments, and that's saying something.
That said, my Xbox One and PlayStation 4 get so much more time out of me compared to my Wii U that it's silly. But the fact of the matter is much of ZombiU was built around the Wii U's ha...
Now that would be something I'd love to see. Take notes, Ubisoft!
Well, if it's any consolation Resident Evil: Revelations 2 took a similar approach and was surprisingly enjoyable. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
Agreed. This approach pretty much crushed my expectations for the game. A shame, as Absolution was fantastic.
While that's absolutely true, the prospect of juggling multiple controllers is a little daunting. Could be cool, though!
Thanks for that. I was unable to find the original clip, just what was shown in the Reddit post. i'll add the full video and credit the creator as soon as I can.
