Some of the choices you have to face are just unreal. Our reviewer said that on one occasion he was faced with gangs of white people assaulting blacks, promising to kill black police officers, firefighters and paramedics. City Hall ordered him to terminate all black police officer positions to avoid a bloodbath. He refused and the officials gutted his funding.
Pretty heavy stuff.
Gonna have to go with the Neo Geo here. As a huge fan of classic 90's arcade games, there is no feeling quite like seeing arcade-perfect versions of your favorite games in your living room. Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Last Blade 2, Samurai Shodown II, and many others have gobbled up days of my life.
I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Honestly, I've been waiting for an Alan Wake film for years. Considering the way the game simply screams Twin Peaks meets Stephen King I think it'd be fantastic.
Looking good!
Just give me a Twin Peaks game and I'll be happy.
Sounds like an uneven experience. Even still, I might snag it when it's on sale.
SMB: Dimensions has my attention.
I'd love to take him out disguised as a woman like he did the captain in Under Siege. That'd be freaking meta.
Yeah, the animations are nice and smooth as well. As a huge fan of the Shining Force series and fighters in general I'm pumped to get my mitts on this.
It's cool, but I don't really see how this is a huge surprise. Plenty of consoles from the golden age to 16-bit era have been licensed for use with pre-loaded games. Sure, having Nintendo manufacture the unit themselves likely means the quality will be solid, but it's still just a glorified rom box using VC emulation. The fact it lacks a proper cartridge slot also holds the unit back from offering access to an expanded library.
Even still, at $60 it's not br...
I still think Leona's flare to the chest desperation move is amazing to this day.
Bring back Mr. Big and Krauser! Also, I just have to go and say KoF '96's Boss Team stage on the gondola was one of the best stages in the series' history.
Love this underrated series so much. I still toss World Heroes 2 and World Heroes Perfect in my 4-slot big red from time to time. Captain Kid FTW!
It's definitely a shame. In the worst case I was hoping for a competent Gauntlet clone to pass the time with. Looks like I'll have to steer clear of this one.
I think it all depends on just how over-the-top the motivation minigames are.
That's what I was thinking. While 2K3 was pretty underwhelming Adeleid was a great addition to the series' lineup. His design was tops.
It's been a few years since the last release, but KOF still has a huge base in Japan and Mexico.
Omega Rugal or Adeleid would be awesome.
It's a great story. I definitely wouldn't mind reliving it again while leaving my hands free for some beers and popcorn.
