@EonJay - Where have you been? It's a delay and ATLUS' PR lead has even addressed it as such. Hell, numerous press releases landed in my inbox last September announcing the planned 2016 release for both Japan and North America.
ATLUS releases 50+ hour games on a fequency very few other publishers do, and their localizations are some of the best around. That said, I don't understand what leads you to believe ATLUS USA isn't up to the task.
I think so too. I think the worst part is going to be trying to avoid spoilers. I feel like I'll need to go radio silent so I don't ruin the experience.
I hear you. We definitely see way too many unfinished games roll out these days. I'd much rather wait for something fantastic than be disappointed by a game that was forced out to meet a deadline.
Bookmarked. I'll be making use of this soon. Thanks, GH!
I really have to dive back into this. It's been far too long.
That'd definitely be a nice thing to see. Deep Crimson could really use a nice HD port.
Looks like a blast!
@Timeless - That wouldn't prevent issues like the AI co-op from RE5 and RE6 from screwing things up as they did throughout the campaign of both games. Having backup, either AI or co-op, really took away from the tension that previous games in the series had in spades. I'm all for an optional mode, but forcing players to play alongside an ally, either human or not, is definitely a bad decision, at least in my opinion.
I'm not going to lie - I really, really liked Alfred Ashford in Code Veronica. He was the perfect balance of camp and creepiness.
Salazar and Saddler were beyond redemption. They felt like B-List MGS villains moonlighting as horror movie monsters.
Wow. This is looking a lot better than what was shown last year!
Of course! One of the many unforgettable moments in the game. Such a classic.
That got a good laugh out of me, Red. They did a great job bringing her personality to life this time around. And yeah, I'm dying to see how Team Ikari handles looks in this entry. Leona is an absolute favorite of mine.
You said it. I swear, this game just keeps looking better and better every time ATLUS shows it off. It's definitely come a long way since its humble beginnings when it was first showcased last year.
Honestly, I can't wait to get my grubby mitts on the game later this summer and dive into that roster. 50 freaking characters? Take that, SFV!
Looks like old concept art to me. I'd hope early shots of a game that's so highly anticipated would look a bit better than this. Even still, I really do hope we see a sequel to RDR eventually.
I'd agree but my love for Lunar, Shining Force CD, and Snatcher made it a very worthwhile purchase.
Bring on Mirror's Edge: Catalyst!
Can't expect anything less from CD Projekt RED!
Yes, delay. Last September when ATLUS announced the game would be slipping out of the holiday 2015 release window it was announced that P5 would instead be released in 2016 in both Japan and the west, while no specific date was given. This was mentioned in numerous press releases issued by the publisher.
