Nintendo definitely needs to stop going the cheap route. It's very simple for them. Make a $400 console that the hardcore will buy. Add your franchises in the second or third year after you bring cost down to the usual $50 per unit profit. Abzdiine, you really don't see how this is a game changer? Graphics have not been the area of games that have been stalled. Game mechanics have. Graphics are easy, just add a more powerful GPU. Corristo you don't understand how Azure works. There is actually never a reason for any game servers to go offline again. If Microsoft is hosting the servers they will scale to the need for that game. You don't need group of servers on standby only for that particular game. Interesting information. I haven't read all of it but I would have been curious to see what would have happened if he hadn't been fired. You can't argue he wasn't a visionary.
