Quick, someone call 911! Genuine's had a stroke! Bring in the search dogs. We couldn't find him under the bridge.
Good to see someone utilize the available technology more fully. This is something I thought about when Kinect 2 was first announced and they mentioned the ability to sense heart rate. I wasn't thinking about calming anyone down though. I was thinking see what gets to them and throw more of it at them. And use their stress against them by making it harder to keep your balance when running or interfering with accuracy when shooting. Making it harder to use a key to unlock a door when being...
That is the issue with gamers. Though it seems to be the issue with people in general. The point is too often missed. The funny thing is you look at games like iRacing and the most realistic racing sims and graphics are in their proper place for a sim, a secondary concern. And no one seems to complain.
Gaming isn't going anywhere. Hopefully. But if gamers keep making decisions based on stupid stuff and not what matters it will make it harder for people to consider develop...
Lack of a disc on NX doesn't mean they won't have disc. It may have the ability to load games loaded into a Wii or Wii U. Rumors sometimes mention systems. Nintendo has always been good about BC. Maybe they're building a Voltron system. Several that fit together and with previous generations to augment power and flexibility.
Sony may not have that problem now, but Sony(and Microsoft) have to do things for what will happen. Microsoft has introduced features that could change that. You also have to remember this isn't a one year fight. Xbox 360 emulation will translate to Xbox One emulation on Microsoft's next console. That will force Sony to figure out how to do it also, stick with the same architecture next generation or add an additional APU to their next console. The latter would be cheap, but the APU i...
For Sony to compete with BC they will have to emulate previous Sony generations, add the necessary hardware or redo their OS and allow it to run more like the one in Xbox One. A server like OS. PS Now is not an acceptable way to do this. Not for people that despise always on and don't like the idea of paying for online gaming. Free only solves one problem.
That might be true for higher end computers, but I'm not sure these consoles are capable of that much physics while looking that good. I could be wrong, there is still plenty to learn about these machines.
I've looked at a few games online and it just seems like the way the ships move in SoT makes them appear to actually have mass to them. Kinda like in car games where you get the feel that the cars are attached by pins on turns. These ships seem substantial.
BC probably isn't as hard as Microsoft makes it out to be. And the author is wrong that they did BC trying to close the gap. The true genius of Xbox One BC is the Xbox One OS. It was designed to do this from day one. It's a hypervisor already running two OSs. It's not that big of a deal to run a third. Computers can run bunches of VMs at the same time.
They will eventually run an Original Xbox OS and a OS for pc games too. They could run one for PlayStation games...
Could be a PC though I doubt it considering it was during the Xbox show and wasn't shown at the PC show. It also said it was gameplay captured in real time. I believe it is Xbox One and it has cloud support. But I believe that is the case with Halo multiplayer. The Ai you first encounter in the war zone maps. But there was also the implication that there would be destruction in one of the screens they released maybe last year.

A pirate simulation would be awesome. If this has real physics it will be fun. People will have to do some real strategizing. That will be fun. A crew of friends. That is a clan. Drop in/drop out, clan based pirate sim with pirate "Drivatars".
While all of the cloud computing talk has been about Crackdown considering the gameplay we've seen and given that this is multiplayer you have to believe this is cloud assisted. I need to look at some other seafaring games but the water seems to good to be local.
Microsoft has changed the way they handle software development. They plan monthly updates on all of their software including Windows. That is why 10 is rumored to be the last release. From now on changes will be made gradually unless they are a security issue. It's also part of the reason to push for subscription based OSs.
I don't have a problem with always online. If it is about enhancements. There should always be an option. While I will say the idea of liking photos is silly to me, it is a step in the right direction. But surely they can do better than liking photos.
If that list is why people buy the PS4 it explains the comments on n4g. Most of those games could just as easily be mobile games. If you bought "the most powerful console in the world" for that you're obviously confused in general. Especially given the hatred so many"hardcore" PlayStation fans mobile.
Could be a flash drive. I believe one of the other companies (Microsoft?) considered using flash.
PURGE THE INTERLOPER!!!!!
Genuine number six would like to say "Hello, pot".
Kleptic you seem like a reasonable person so I'll break down why what you said is wrong. We both agree Microsoft lost a ton of money on the Original Xbox. Estimates say around five billion. We agree that the 360 was initially sold at a loss and RRoD caused a one billion dollar loss in addition to cost before they took the charge. So we're at about billion now. Here's where you start to lose ground and it starts going fast towards the black.
After selling for a lo...
They will probably have the same license needs as the 360. But given the age of the games I'll bet developers will throw them up even faster than 360 games. It would present an opportunity to sell more copies of games people may have sold or even thrown away. They could also be added as part of games for gold.
Also I'm not seeing the issue with 360 BC. It was only announced a couple of months ago and hasn't been released and already has exceeded the number of tit...
You must be a truly magic troll if you believe a conference full of the world's graphics experts don't know what good graphics are. Best graphics on console means all consoles.
