Funny you never see anyone say Sony paid someone off or see Sony spelled with a money sign.....Is what I might say if I didn't read the business section.

So many are making PSN+ seem like such a great deal. Most complained about Live. If it is such a great deal, why did so few have it before it became mandatory?

Maybe you have the ability to read a book and remember how some things work, but I have a feeling you lack vision or the ability to push technology forward. Yeah it would definitely change the way MS will have to do some things. But the reality is those things will be op in on the Xbox as apposed to your cable company currently doing it and most had no idea they were. That DVR is not your Fathers cable box.

Pretty sure I've read several times from people that are engineers and from people that make games saying that console CPUs don't have to be as powerful as desktop CPU to get the same results. Same for GPUs. There is a difference between a closed system and an open system. Also a OS made for a specific task instead of for everything.

I don't need to read the article. I'm commenting on fake people that claimed it wasn't possible. That is until Sony says they could do it too. It's just like every other made up complaint.

MS makes you pay twice for your game because of charging for Live. Oh Sony's doing it too. It's not a big deal. I understand it cost a lot money to run servers and provide those services.

Sorry Cueil, every president since Carter has been the same person. Some hide it better and all give the impression that they belong to one side or the other. Love the way people think $60 for a game that will provide hundreds of hours of fun if it has MP is overpriced. But those same people will buy a $12-15 movie ticket for 2 hours of a crap movie. Even though a AAA game will have a budget similar to a movie and will have no secondary markets. Maybe games should let you play once and then you have to buy it again on a DVD if you want to play it more.

So we've gone from the cloud being a marketing gimmick to it suddenly being a viable tool. I guess it doesn't exist until Sony says so. At least fosty is consistent.

Actually Steven he's pointing out that you are being asked to pay again for the MP you already paid for. Sony fans have made it clear that is paying for it twice.

You really don't realize that MS and Sony's used games policies are pretty much the same. It's up to the publishers. The only difference is that MS requires you to go to certain retailers because they want the developer to get some of the money. There's no reason for Gamestop to make more in profits then the developer. Jack makes it very clear.
