Well if you're going to start nitpicking at Sonys other ventures, i can sure as hell bring up many lines of Microsoft products that have had just as many, if not worse, than Sony ever had. Don't start slagging off one company and defending the actions of another when that said company is guilty of alot worse.

I do agree that they do need to phase out the Ps2, but i think Sony would rather see the PS2 naturally fall away than retire it themselves. Its making Sony money, and in these economical times, the Playstation 2 will remain a good viable option for both the consumer and Sony.

I think the PSP has had an unfortunate stigma attached to it when it comes to its games. There are alot of quality titles on the PSP that are rather spread out across different genres. I'd agree that it doesnt have many 'major' hitters, but it does have games that have scored great and play great.

Resistance 2 was released last year. Sony still has big hitters on the horizon for 2009, with inFAMOUS, MAG, Heavy Rain and of course God of War III to name a few. Fair enough, they may not be to your tastes (although i would argue that if they were on the 360, you'd soon be selling these titles to people on here as 'AAA' 360 games) and i'm sure that your powers in looking into the future would be able to tell you that these games are crap and that Alan Wake is brilliant.

I'm sorry, but whoever decided on that colour at Microsoft needs their head checking. It just doesn't suit a console at all, infact it looks pretty tacky. No right minded person would buy this surely, especially when the white, and the much better black consoles are available and would actually suit a set-up under your TV.
Even having a normal black 360 but with the Unbrella Corp. logo, or something related to Resident Evil scribed into the casing would have been alot better ...
For me, its the Playstation 3, but only just. While the Xbox 360 has incredible games and a service, the plus points of the Ps3 are just too big to ignore, and its capabilities, both as a gaming and media unit now and in the future, are what just tip the scales in the PS3's favour for me.

Cant believe i wasted time reading your statement to be honest. To say that the PS3 version of PES and Fifa are worse than the 360 version is highly ignorant. That trailer has been shown in the UK on the odd occassion. It was on last night after a movie on Sky Movies (forget which movie channel) and i've spotted it on the sports channels of a night time once or twice. So it is out there :)
It actually doesnt need much improvement. One thing i would like to see something similar to the 'Warzone' mode that Killzone 2 has. That would certainly make, what is already a fantastic online game, even better.
More depth would be nice too. Having more technical weapons and accessories, and being able to customise the way you look would also be good.
