@UltraNova:

Disagree's and critisism do not bother me. I am simply stating technical facts that anyone with basic mechanical knowledge would know. If people want to hate on me for it, so be it.

I wasn't talking about post processing (FXAA). I was talking about standard MSAA/CSAA. I can run 8x MSAA on any game that i normally get a steady 60fps on, and it only drops about 5fps.

Modern GPUs, atleast from Nvidia, are designed to provide nearly free AA.

@MrSwankSinatra:

Kinect 2.0 = 1920x1080 single lens @ 30fps, FOV 70

PS4 Eye = 1280x720 dual 3D lenses @ 60fps, FOV 85.

Kinect 2.0 is nothing special hardware wise, it is comparable to a $40-50 logitech webcam. It is all in the software which Sony could easily replicate if they wanted to.

@system22:

Everything you described there besides the depth sensor, is handled on the software side. The PS4 Eyes 3D lenses...

Beat the game twice and every time i tried sniping, even with the silence rifle and from like a mile away, they would always psychically know exactly where i was and come running. They wouldn't call for reinforcements until they actually saw me but as soon as one of them dropped dead from the sniper shot, all the others would start running directly towards me.

AA hasn't been murdering framerates for quite a while now. Mid-high end PC GPUs have been providing near free AA since around 2008.

What is it with all these comfort whores hating on the DS3? It was massively superior to the 360 controller as far as performance is concerned.

Analogs were 10bit vs 8bit, Smaller deadzone, longer and convex vs concave, both of which increase precision. No slow turn issue, No centering issues, (MS quality control on the controllers was horrible) The face buttons and L1/R1 were analog vs digital which made them pressure sensitive, don't even get me started on the 360s brut...

FFXII is my favorite post merger FF. The characters may not have been the most likeable but story wise it is by far the least cliche in the series. The licence board was a much improved version of FFXs sphere grid (especially IZJS). The gameplay was great and the gambit system was genius.

They really should bring back and expand on the gambit system from FFXII. It was by far the best AI control provided in any game ever. If you cannot directly control side characters during combat, atleast allow AI programming so they aren't completely useless like in FFXIII.

Yeah this is a top 100 split into 4 parts. It says right in the article #50-26.

Great, the non game developer is back after a 2+ year disappearing act. This is the third time in like 5 years they have demo'd this tech and nothing ever comes of it. $20 says they dissapear again now, leaving no trace of their company ever having even existed.

2 main things to remember about FFVIII.

1: Leveling your own team does not increase their stats until you have the stat gain abilities.

2: Enemies levels scale according to the average level of your active party, and they do gain stats by leveling.

Ex, a lvl 1 G-Soldier has 45 HP, 3 STR & 1 VIT. A lvl 100 G-Soldier has 3040 HP, 73 STR & 13 VIT.

Omega Weapon at lvl 1 has 111,105 HP, 67 STR & 61 VIT. At lvl 100 it h...

In this day and age, that is about as professional as you will find. As the saying goes, if you cannot write well enough to get hits... tits.

Key word, rated. 95% of review sites are console bias. No sh!t they review higher. It means nothing. Name almost any genre of game and the PC still has the largest and longest lasting followings. That says alot more about the quality of a game than one persons opinion/review. JRPGs are about the only thing that consoles have better.

Also just to give you an idea of the difference in number of exclusives.

Square Enix is nothing but a scam. They said the exact same thing several times before, and even after the games sold well they didn't do the remake. They just release yet another shoddy half baked game and use the same line to sell it. A year or two from now, they will do it again.

Did you even look at the article?

All things considered, it isn't really all that good.

1. This is the sales for 3 seperate games combined.
2. It is shipped, not sold through.
3. Expectations are everything. Which leads to #4.
4. The sales have been decreasing significantly with each subsequent release, with the first of the 3 accounting for nearly 2/3rds of the total combined sales.

Don't fall for it. Atari themselfs debunked the landfill myth years ago. These are no doubt all cloned carts.

$399 isn't that expensive. Thrustmaster is considered mid-range for consumer grade wheels.
