Sony actually demo'd the wand style controller in 2000 for the PS2. They just never ended up releasing it. It was a much more primitive design but the concept was the same.

He probably also has some sealed games or atleast good condition boxed ones with all the manuals, etc. It also includes 50 systems, some of which like the Atari 2600 can go for a couple hundred in good working condition. More again if he has the boxes and manuals. Some games also go for alot more than $28. FFs II/III for the SNES go for between $50-70 each depending on the time of year, Chrono trigger sometimes goes as high as $90, same with Secret of Mana. Earthbound is average like $150 atm...
Mods are always possible on PC games, even with no official support. It will just be more difficult. I doubt anyone would want to waste time on it anyway though. Ryse is bad even by Crytek standards.
Crysis 2 was dumbed down. Crysis 3 maxed on the PC looks incredible. It is still one of the best looking games available atm.
Another clueless moron. Video games are not rendered the same as movies and have no such issues when rendered above 24fps. The higher the frame rate, the better, always and with no exceptions. If you think they do not look right, then you are either stone blind or dumb as sin.

That wasn't really FFVIIs doing specifically though. It was the fact that it was on the PS1 that really got alot of people into it. Prior to the PS1, gaming in general was still quite niche. Most people back then still saw gaming as a whole to be for children and nerds only. The PS1 brought alot more people into gaming with things like voice acted FMVs and 3D visuals.
Most so called 7.1 headsets are actually either 4.4 or 6.2 and the drivers are junk. How they even come up with the 7.1 tag is a mystery. This "PS4 Compatability" thing is yet another reason to just stick with a proper pair of hifi stereo headphones, a dolby headphone capable t-amp and a mod mic. Nothing really wrong with the Vita, it is a good handheld. Just not enough good games to make it worth the purchase price. Needs more RPGs.
It is actually a heavily modded Skyrim that i tested it on before replying back with the amount of frames lost. I am using SMC with all 4k options. That is over 250 texture mods, almost all 4k, full paralax mapping, new meshes, Project ENB, grass fields, a couple dozen ini tweaks including a ugrids of 13. 8x MSAA, 16x AF, etc. I get 60fps with no AA and 54 average with 8x.
I have also tested it on Crysis 2 and 3 and Farcry 3 which also loose between 5-7fps average.
Windows Vista and 7 are nothing alike. Windows Vista was an unstable wreck. Nearly everything had major compatability issues with it.
