2019 would have been possible if it wasn't for bitcoins. They would have been able to deliver a 12 TFLOPS PS5 for $399.99 in November 2019. However the price increase for graphic cards because of bitcoins made that impossible for 2019. 2020 is likely when it will happen. When they claimed the PS3 life cycle was too long at the beginning of this generation, the bitcoin price increase hadn't happened yet.
This will help Sony though. With the increase of price in video...
The PS4 will outsell the PS3 and 360 this year. It will also definitely outsell the Wii and PS1 next year.
Yeah, that won't matter. The 360 launched a year earlier and $100 cheaper and it didn't matter. If the 360, which was Microsoft at their best, couldn't beat the PS3, which was Sony at their worst, it's pretty obvious Microsoft is never gonna win no matter what they do.
Even if everything you just said happens, the PS5 will still win by a huge margin. Microsoft simply doesn't have the resources to compete here. Their console only has appeal in the US and ...
Are you kidding? Far Cry 2 looks dated even compared to Far Cry 3.
@bouzebbal
November 2019 would make the PS4 6 years old, which is usually when a new console releases. Sony also already said the PS3 life cycle of 7 years was too long. Plus, the PS4 Pro didn't increase the PS4 life cycle in any way. 2019 sound plausible.
Also, to anyone saying the PS4 is doing well and that means they shouldn't release another console because of it, don't bother. The success of a console has zero effect on when they release ...
That's because when they say "wait till E3", they don't mention which year.
The reason they failed is because they thought they mattered a lot more than they did and they didn't realize the reason the 360 was so successful was because Sony messed up with the PS3, not because the 360 was actually a good console.
Had the PS3 launched a year earlier and $100 less expensive, the 360 would never have had any success, as it would have been buried by the PS3.
Even if Microsoft does everything right next gen, they won't be able ...
@CaptainTragedy
Microsoft doesn't give numbers, but I can still affirm with certainty that it sold less than literally every Sony and Nintendo exclusives.
Those numbers you keep seeing are from Game Pass. I am certain the vast majority of players got it via Game Pass trial or by just paying for Game Pass 1 month. Most of those players will be gone soon enough.
Not that I want to defend Nintendo, but you people need to realize that it's not actually their problems. Those third party docks are not licensed, which means Nintendo not only didn't do any testing when they released their patch, but they also didn't have to.
Seriously, those products are unlicensed, meaning Nintendo doesn't support them in any way nor is it their fault if your console break if you're using them.
For me, strategy guides have been pointless for a long time. Why pay $25 when you can easily find everything on the Internet for free.
Plus, with patches, it can actually make the guide you paid for obsolete if there is big changes.
Now just need an easter sale in North America.
I think that promo only works for american region though. I do hope there is an easter sale in NA soon.
Sadly, I played this on DS and I see no point in buying it again.
I do hope they show what happened to him at the end of GoW3 and how he survived?
I am certain that the PS4 had a better first year worldwide than the Switch. It also did it with US and Europe alone because Japan wasn't much help for the PS4 in its first year.
It definitely can, the hype it will get as the successor to the PS4 will probably skyrocket the sales to even higher numbers than both PS4 and Switch.
Actually, it's a sure thing, but only if Sony make enough stock available at launch.
PS4 BC is likely gonna happen because the PS5 will likely use the same architecture as the PS4. You can forget about PS3 BC, it's never gonna happen. It's anybody's guess for PS1 and PS2.
What's hilarious is that Nintendo fanboys called the PS4 Portstation 4 when it was early in its life, but now the Switch is far worst with ports.
Why do you think it's popular in Japan? It's because of the portable part. If this was like a normal console, Japan's numbers would be much lower.
They said they would have to go backward to do that, which they don't want to do (which is pretty stupid of them to say considering they did exactly that for Sonic Mania).
