I didn't realize designing a controlling with it in mind and advertising this feature was considered a perk. Oh well, I guess when something doesn't work well it's best to sweep it under the carpet and not draw attention to it. Hey wait a minute, we are consumers not pr people. Right?
Nothing wrong with linear. Uncharted is linear yet regarded as one of the best ip's to come out of last gen. Trouble is linear games work with good action, good gameplay, good characters and story. The one fault with Uncharted though was the shooting mechanics but the pacing and characters were so good that you didn't care. I think the problem The Order is showing is the pacing of the game which seems to be constantly interrupted so it feels less of a game and more of a cinematic even...
@NewMonday,
False? These are the first 2 impressions I got from Google so it's not like I am cherry picking.

I have to agree. Sony is doing a great job and I don't really see much arrogance so far. Not anything like they showed when unveiling the PS3. It's not Sony that's the issue, it's the fanboys who rush to there aid and flood the forums with arrogance and ignorance. Sony throughout the years have created this culture of fans who really feel as if they are part of the company.
Microsoft is only humbled because they have to be. If they were winning the hardware sa...
This. Each time they show us shots that aren't really what we will see while playing. The details they are showing us are zoomed in. I want to see video of the real action when the camera is pulled back and all the players are there. The animations, collision detection, A.I. and all of that are more important to me and this is why I look at gameplay videos instead.
The big issue with sports games is the rushed development cycle. This is why there is usually a huge change ...
How much did they charge for the Halo repackage on the XB360? I remember The Orange Box and that was great value too at the time but this collection looks to have much more content.
Valve has proven you can have an enriching online gaming service and not charge for it. Another impressive fact is you don't see the community in multiplayer games dry up as quickly as they do on consoles.
They should NEVER have paid DLC that is a requirement to finish the game if you've already bought the game. Paid DLC that can be used to improve your chances in online games against others playing shouldn't be there either.
The sad thing about EA is they are continually stripping away parts of the game and charging for it. What's next, removing game manuals and charging for that too? Oh wait, what game manuals?

Actually it is trolling because you just admitted you're trying to be annoying. Which is another form of trolling. So no, on the surface it doesn't appear to be trolling when we take one post of yours at face value but your posting history is what most would classify as spamming. i.e., trolling
The whole act of trolling is looking for a ...

The thing is I never said any of those games I listed were better, I simply said since when are those coming to the PS4 in response to the people above saying they are all coming to the PS4. Of course most games on both systems, it's been like that last generation as well but the ones I listed aren't. So again why the disagrees?
Half the people disagreed with my comment yet nobody explained why? Strange.
Since when is Titanfall, Halo, Ryse, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Kinect Sports Rivals, Project Spark, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5 and Killer Instinct on the PS4?
Yes it does and Demon's Souls is arguably the best still until this game arrives.
I guess those who use both win.
Personally I think PSN + offers better value overall but as far as matchmaking and online gaming in general Live is still the better service. Microsoft has simply invested far more resources into it and that is something nobody can argue.
Both Sony and Microsoft have games that allow cross platform play between console and PC. Sony seems to be more open to the idea but we've seen games like Shadowrun and the upcoming Project Spark.
I always find it odd how much people seem to want to single out Microsoft for everything yet often are not nearly as critical to Nintendo. Why is that? Does this stem from Sony fans who love to use Microsoft every chance they get or is it just the case of being way more lenient ...
I usually turn the music off anyways so that's good.
"In addition to that, he also confirmed that the game will have sound effects when the rain hits the windshield while driving in first person, which is something that many game developers strangely forget to implement."
Even within the cockpit I'd imagine the engine sounds would normally drown out the rain hitting the windshield unless it was hail. It would be cool if we could control the ...
True but each time they release the game they don't include everything people ask.
Anyways it's odd they comment about the game probably not making it out this year. That means they are well underway so let's hope some time next year.
@NewMonday,
Many articles have had hands on and they all mostly talk about the graphics which are gorgeous. There is no argument there. The argument lies within the gameplay, how linear it is and the QTE that take you out of the gameplay.
The graphics is what people are excited about. Other than that they don't say much other than it's very linear and clunky. This article explains that aside from the flashy graphics there really isn't much compel...
