If you care more about public image than what a product offers then your simply limiting your experiences. Also they have changed there public image, all the way to the top. MS has a new CEO and they have put Phil in charge now of the XBOX, who seems to have made a whole bunch of changes to the XB1 since being assigned the new position. So again, it comes down to the product in the end.

I think some of you people get far too wrapped up in all things going on that really don&#...

All these delays are certainly not helping PS4 owners. What Yoshida fails to acknowledge is some people buy new systems for games that are only possible on the new hardware. That's why games like Uncharted get so much attention. So it would be a shame for Sony to slow down that kind of support. They already confirmed this to be the case for Vita.

Maybe Sony realizes they lost so much money last generation that they are now trying to be conservative on AAA game production?...

They should try to get a lower rating. M may reduce potential sales.

These jabs have been going on for years. People at Sony called the XBox 360 the Xbox 1.5. Jack Tretton called the DS for children. It's all just business tactics so why do we the consumers care at all? The product speaks for itself and right now the PS4 is doing everything right. The XBox 360 was the go to platform for third party developers, not bad for a Xbox 1.5. Now it's Sony turn to have the system third party favor so far.

It's amazing how many comments have...

Feel better getting all of that off of your chest?

This is about Japan and XB1, not Titanfall, not price drops, and not anything else that you feel you need to set the record on. So if anyone is spamming it's you.

"Izumi-san mentoned that the console’s preorder numbers are within expectations and that the Day One Edition (including Kinect Sports Rivals and Titanfall bundled with the console and Kinect) is going strong, and apparently the version with...

True. They already announced at E3 there are hundreds of indie games being developed right now and they also showed quite a few. Maybe not as many as Sony but it seems more than Nintendo. More isn't necessarily better as we've witnessed with Mini's on PSN.

For 2014 I'm looking forward to DriveClub and The Last of Us. Other than that not much else. 2015 will be a killer year for the PS4.

Your only deserving of the support you get in return and Vita just isn't selling well enough for EA to commit. It's about money, nothing more and nothing less. Even Sony isn't putting in a whole lot of resources into making bigger titles for it. That's the way the cookie crumbles and I would be really surprised if Sony releases another handheld.

A, AA, and AAA used to be an industry standard used to determine the possibility of how well the game would sell. Meaning if you are a store manager for GameStop and Call of Duty Ghosts was coming out it would be rated a AAA product and you would order many copies. A game like Demon's Souls would be rated as a A product because it is lesser known. This is where the ratings get complicated because a game like Demon's Souls become a pretty big hit mostly due to word of mouth. It didn...

NewMonday,
"Only in your imagination, other than Nintendo fan-sites most media called the E3 win for Sony."

This really is an embarrassing attitude you have and I'm a Sony fan. There's a whole world out there yet you seem entirely focused on what Sony is doing. So much so that you're actually missing out on being able to enjoy gaming and what it really offers.

Can't you look forward to both?

Who cares if people cheat offline? The trouble is we are getting games now that amalgamate single player with multiplayer so it can affect others which is not good. I don't care what people do offline but if they cheat online and screw around with the game that I'm also playing or cheat there way on the leaderboards then they should be held accountable. Banning should only be the last resort as not all cheats are treated equally.

Banning people for life is quite harsh...

People come around the world to see what each company if offering and here you sit only wanting to talk about what Sony did. So don't try and persuade us that we should all just be fans of Sony. Plus when you get right down to it Nintendo did what they do best, they showcase actual games running on there hardware. They didn't fill there conference with a bunch of CGI trailers and a bunch of timed exclusive deals.

There also wasn't a dull moment in it and speaking ...

From the article,
"We sit in a very happy niche, so like we have the underlying depth of the physics models for the vehicles but we've got a very easy to access, very simple to play, almost-arcadey feel. It's a hybrid, it's got the best of both worlds."

Many games feature this. PGR and GRID are two examples.

I guess that's one way to take the attention away from Sony's lackluster show midway through. Go off on another tangent about something else. Great job. Maybe they should have had you to help them during the show because I don't recall much attention given to Vita.

They need to trim the length of the show to 90 minutes but Sony won't do that.

Yes, this whole debate has gotten pretty trivial. Performance will always side with going towards a PC but consoles are meant to be a plug and play system. I would say a $800 PC will offer better value than a $400 game console because it does a lot more than just play games. But for $400 you are also getting good value. However you now have to factor in online fees to play multiplayer games and the price of software which tends to be cheaper on the PC.

It really is comparing ...
