This is why it's exciting that the PS4 is doing well, there won't be any shortage of games being released.

I always laugh when I read about these insiders. It's like listening to fortune tellers. "Sony is going to release details on a new game at E3". Wow, really?
I would say until Apple takes gaming seriously, such as a commitment to making games themselves, then perhaps we can. Regardless, it was never designed to be a serious gaming environment.
I guess Thuway or whomever that insider is struck gold again. Not!
Well the 1 year anniversary is fast approaching as Sony sits idle on updating the system with real updates.
I see nothing wrong with the price. We've seen games come out later but are first on that console for full price. You have to remember, not all PS4 owners had a PS3 so this is a new game to them.
If people don't like the price then wait awhile, I imagine it will drop over time.

You do realize Steam has far more online players than the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, and XBox One right?
Lots of games now are supported by a game controller but many still prefer k/m because it's more accurate. Why do you think some developers don't like cross-platform play? It's because they know console gamers are at a disadvantage. You can still play with a controller on the PC for most new games. Options are GOOD.

They know they can make money off of the ip so they will make another one even if the original wasn't meant for a sequel or a prequel. It's the way the industry is run.

There are a lot of terrible people to play with, no denying that. I'd rather their be harsher penalties so they don't do it as often than to simply strict everyone from being able to communicate freely.
Isn't it quite easy to simply mute that person? One of the reasons we play online is to meet new people. If somebody buys a new console and is just starting out it's hard to communicate with anyone. Party chat is a great option but it also makes it harder for those on the outside to get inside.
12,500 of the 18,000 are to do with the Nokia deal from a year ago. They are also closing the Xbox Entertainment Studios which is to do with premium TV content. The XBox gaming division will not be impacted much, if at all. Many wanted the XBox One to be mainly a game console after all that TV talk during the unveiling over a year ago, this looks like another example of that direction.

It's purpose is to be an entertaining device, not just play games. If it wasn't Sony would not bother with music and video. Don't say those are just bonuses either because that is not how the system was or is marketed.

Some of those features were advertised OVER A YEAR AGO. It's a bit ridiculous they take so long getting these features out.

It sold just 15k in the U.S. last month, a nearly 50% drop from same month last year. I don't expect much support for it in North America, at least not any real big games unless they are simply cross-platform games.
Why have a 4 hour option in the first place? The 7 days and 30 days are the only offerings that make any sense. Make the 4 hour pricing for 24 hours and make the 90 days full ownership.
I agree, having premium content on the Xbox limits its availability. Netflix is everywhere. Perhaps if they had some sort of Windows app for cellphones, the Xbox and the PC they could get the content out there but who would pay for it?

Sold as seen? It should be sold as advertised. There are many features still missing that were talked about over a year ago. Obviously the PS4 is a great machine now but let's not start talking like the PR people from Sony. We are consumers and as consumers we should expect our products to be the best they possibly can be, not apologize or make excuses on behalf of a company we don't work for.
