I was wondering how to word it, but you did it perfectly. I also have "out grown Square." Sad, but true. For me though, it's not so much that they don't grab my attention, because whenever I see the name square/square-enix I look, but their games have taken a serious drop in quality. When was the last good game that square made? Seriously? FF10 maybe. FF12 was a pseudo-MMO, with terrible cardboard cutout characters and no real bad guys. 13 ... nuff said. I think it's tim...

For the company who is implementing draconian methods to stop piracy, you would think that they would release a game on the system that has absolutely NO piracy going on. Strange.

It's amazing if you think about it, how much money Sony has probably lost in all, based on the sales of the ps3 up to this point. I'm surprised they haven't started making money off each one until now, but I guess it's about time (assuming the article is correct at all).

There was an interview with the developers of Dead Space 2 a few weeks back, and they mentioned that those rumors were wrong; they claim it will be scarier than the first, and will keep with the same feel of the first game. They DID mention that since it's the second game, that Isaac will be better equipped to fight the baddies, but it's not turning into a pure action game.

I don't have a link, but you can search for the article.

This would be cool, if it happens. What they could do is put out a ME 1 and 2 collector's pack at a lower price point, just like GoW 1 and 2. Heck, even if it wasn't at a lower price, it would still get at least half a million sales. Then release ME3 when it comes out and bam, at least 1m more sales for ME3.

But I'm pretty sure this won't happen; though I would like it to. Not because I want to play it on ps3 or anything (PC is better for this game) but because it's Bioware, and...

And don't forget, since you mentioned some bad DVD space usage, that MS doesn't allow the full space to be used on DVD's. I think I read that the dev's only have about 6.8 or 6.9 GB of space that is usable on a dvd, while the rest is used up by whatever the 360 needs to get it to run (not exactly sure about those numbers though).

But yeah, if this game is even 20 hours, and is fun, I will probably pick it up. It's been a while since I had fun with a long single player campaign. ...

Sounds interesting, but unfortunately it's on the Fox channel. I think I'll pass.

The mess of Gears 2 is what is making me wait on the 3rd. I'll check out the reviews, and if in a few weeks there's no major outcries from the online players, I'll give it a try. To be honest, I'm tired of wasting time and money on games that are just flat out broken. I enjoyed Gears 2 for a few weeks, but it was tough love, and after a while (when it became obvious they were not going to fix it) I let it go. Hopefully they learn their lesson.

He did not mean that comment in a bad way, or to put people off. He's saying it's not a sequel because it's much more deep; I loved MoM, and I put it on my PC again every time I format. But I'm really looking forward to this. Because of how well they did on Galactic Civilizations and Sins, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and keep an eye on this game.

"i love Boo! <3 "

That hamster has more character than any console protagonist.

Blizzard already has; their new games are now always online, if I remember correctly. You must be connected to the new battle.net all the time, even for lan play (no offline lan).

Activision shot the jockey. The racehorse is still there (the IW brand name, which can keep making them money). They only "shot" (got rid of) the rider (IW head guys). The sad thing is, since many IW people are still with Activision, and they retain the IW name, their racehorse will keep making thme money as long as they keep releasing MW clones, because people will just keep buying them.

I would kinda like to play is Tales of Symphonia, but not that much; my threshold for jRPG's is getting lower and lower. The others, nah. Already played Metroid games, Mario? Nah. Zelda? Played Ocarina and older zelda games, and if I wanted another clone (since they're ALL clones, kinda) I'd just play Ocarina again. Not a great list.

How about a list of PS3/Xbox360 games that Wii owners wish they had, especially the older Wii owners?

If respawn entertainment is/gets filled with old IW staffers, and these guys are the same ones who game MW2 the glitchy, buggy game that it is, how much hope/faith should we have for their next game?

5917d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Activision and IW are both to blame for this, I'm guessing. I don't care for either anymore, so I'll leave it at that.

OT: Is it just me, or is every blog/article/etc. posted on n4g suffering from terrible grammar? What, did every editor in the world just go belly up? I don't care about people posting comments, but this is a (supposedly) "serious" article; didn't these writers take any English classes in school? It's just annoying. I usually stop paying attention or ta...

@Logichurtsfanboys:

Yeah, I agree. Despite what I said, I have absolutely no love nor respect for Activision anymore. It's gotten to the point for me where, whenever I see the name "Bobby," regardless who it is, I immediately think of that jerkoff in charge of Activision and instantly get mad. I think that's a bad sign.

5917d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

There's a lot of people who are (now) bashing on MW2 for being a buggy game, with glitches all over the place. At the same time people are all excited that the IW people are finally leaving, hopefully, they believe, to form their own company and start making games again. So, Activision is bad, former IW employees are good, right? Just remember, it's these IW employees who made MW2 the glitchfest it is; Activision didn't make the game. Keep that in mind.

@lil Titan

I totally agree. I think it's about time we have a change from the Unreal engine. It's getting to the point that every game on it looks almost the same; I didn't think I would ever say this, but the engine is becoming the new generic look, partly due to developer's weak attempt at creativity.

Here's hoping developers start using the cryengine; better graphics on consoles is always a plus.
