True. Too many games coming out have major game breaking bugs in them, I'm surprised MS and Sony allow them to be sold on their systems. This is the kind of thing that should be caught by the developer QA before it goes out. This is especially happening for online shooters; c'mon, these aren't MMORPG's, they aren't that deep. It shouldn't be that hard to get them to work properly (especially since this dev just ported the game over from Infinity Ward's work).
Yeah, but how's that even possible? It's like Naughty Dog dev's saying they're putting 2 player split screen in uncharted 3. How can you keep the same level of graphical quality in the game? I'll be pretty impressed come feb, me thinks.
Apparently some people don't understand sarcasm when they see it. I'm pretty sure he was joking.
I hope it's there as well, but there's one thing, and it's a big one: if they have online co-op, they HAVE to let you dual login, unlike the crap that BLOPS makes you do (one login, one guest) on the ps3. That's just lazy and pathetic, when so many other games let you dual login.
Yeah, but the nintendo fans have already had their games. 2 major mario titles, 1 zelda game, 1 major metroid release, brawl, mario kart, etc. All that means is that the quality games for the system are drying up. I'm actually surprised that 2 major zelda game releases will make it in this nintendo generation, but I guess that's a bonus for the Wii owners.
So to sum it up, yeah, after that zelda game I believe it's over (and it might have been over for a while). U...
@fatoldman
I don't think you can lump together Halo and Final Fantasy in the same category like that ...
FF1 != FF2 != FF7, etc. When Square had innovation and quality to their name, their games were all different and good.
Whereas Halo 1 is very much like halo 2, and is very similar to halo 3, etc.
Yeah, but too many of the same type of game (i.e. shooters) is not.
Uh, you mean video games, right? "No, you're blind, sorry, back to work!"
I think it's funny how people will jump through the hoops of getting reporting rights on this n4g, learning all the posting rules, etc. only to have the INTENT to post evocative articles and titles which only serve as flamebait. What's wrong with this site, isn't it even moderated? Is this news, that AC on the 360 outsold the ps3 version by 10%? What's the point of the title, if not to just start people arguing?
I don't think they'll be KICKING his ass in prison. There might be something else they'll do though.
I agree with your Bioshock 2 comment. Ok, it wasn't Bioshock, but it was not that far off. It did some things better than the original, even though the story wasn't as memorable or fleshed out. But it was a fun game, and a game that sells more than 2 million copies isn't vaporware. Now, if they're saying it SHOULD HAVE BEEN vaporware ... well, that says more about those guys than the game. It's a quality game and doesn't deserve a vaporware title.
I agree. It's not a great seller, but it was a fun game. I enjoyed it more than a lot of released on the 360 recently, to be honest, and it had a good soundtrack. I wish it would have sold more, though, because I like Remedy; I want to see more games out of them and NOT layoffs which is what happens when titles don't sell well.

"some of the VERY FEW good gaming journalist..."
Can you give me an example? And don't say gamespot ...
Same here. Especially for someone who doesn't know much about racing games, but is interested, this list REALLY gives me a good idea of what the game offers. Really, all I wanted to see was split-screen, and now I'm sold. But the rest is good stuff too.
If he wanted to admit there were problems, he should have just said that, instead of calling these people out, saying they're douche-bags and wanting to ban them. All he showed is that he's been thoroughly embarrassed by these glitches and videos, and he's more upset at these people for posting these problems than he is willing to fix them.
These people might be only showing their frustration with the game because it's so glitchy. Calling them out on it and saying they'll ban people who "glitch" the game is ludicrous, because the game is allowing them to do that. Saying nothing and quickly fixing the bugs is what they SHOULD be doing, not sounding like a moron by blaming them for what is clearly the developers' fault, along with this idiot "multiplayer designer."
I know, right? It's almost genius, blame the people showing and reporting glitches, not the idiot devs who didn't fix them/don't want to acknowledge them. What a douche-bag.
I have to agree as well. I'm sure MS's main reason isn't a boost in console sales, but I guarantee they know what they're doing. They ban people from xbox live, and many of those people will go out and buy a new console. Not only that, they will buy xbox live gold again, so that's another little boost in profits. It makes sense, and there's one reason alone that I will always believe MS KNOWS about this and will keep doing it: they don't brick the consoles. If they...
@Pillage05:
I'm sure you're right, but I would assume they would be very small. I doubt MS or Sony make a lot of money for each game sold, and I would more likely believe the majority of their profits are from first party titles and hardware sales.
Regardless, the excuse above is something I have heard many times before (i.e. I hate Sony, I hate Microsoft, so I'm going to pirate their games). Guess what, you're hurting the people we should be...
Um, ok. Can you expand on that please? Why is it the best publisher of 2010? Not saying they should or shouldn't be, but c'mon, put a little effort and give us the reasoning. They could have mentioned ME2, Bad Company 2, etc. Weak.
