Is it co-op missions or the campaign, do you know? Thanks for the vid.
I didn't play the demo but from what I've heard it's the first "level" or so. What exactly didn't you like about it? Yes, the game does get "better" (though I guess it depends on your definition of "better") but I didn't think the beginning was bad at all, particularly the intro movie that really started the game off with a bang. You get more abilities, more powers, more armor and weapons as you go along, more squad mates that are a LOT more i...
PC > either console version. Better graphics and better gameplay. Being able to map way more skills to your number bar using mouse for aiming alone make the gameplay better. The first game was also designed this way for PC, so essentially the game played the same in the first for PC as it did in the second, both being superior to the 360 version. I realize the obviousness of comparing the PS3 version to the 360 version as they are both consoles with essentially identical controls and very ...
I loved Killzone 2 but I don't really want to play the "same thing again". I hope it's different enough from the second, not just more of the same or I will be a bit disappointed.
Good to hear about local co-op though. Just a rumor from what I've heard, don't know if it's been officially announced yet or not. Anyone know?
Why do people still buy these games? Are they actually good? Or do they just buy them because everyone else does, or because they think they are good because they are the only games they play and have no frame of reference to compare them to anything else?
Initial sales mean nothing. I have seen countless people say they will play it for a month and not resub because of the fee. My guess is the numbers will drop substantially next month.
They said it was 30 hour last time. The game is getting shorter! Oh well, as long as it's longer than 8 like the average game nowadays.
They didn't actually show anything in God of War 3's sex scene, that would be why. Also, stores can't see AO games, which is why they don't make them. Dur.
Also, I think poking some dude's eyes out or slowly ripping off a guy's head is much worse than a couple fake looking boobs but that's America for you. Blood, guts and dismemberment is fine, especially when you are doing it by hand, but showing a couple pairs of breasts, something we've all ...
I'm tempted to play this even though I couldn't care less about super heroes. Good to see SOE actually has a decent MMO out there with a successful launch.
Let's just see how long PS3 owners actually keep their subscriptions. I see this game being dead in a month or two on PS3, but who knows. Most console owners don't seem to have the attention span to play games for more than a week, let alone pay monthly for them.
Stupid Americans get all the good deals.
I would agree, except the release date is nowhere in sight, and I might want to play something in the meantime.
I actually just started playing this game for the first time a couple days ago. I am kinda disappointed. It feels like essentially exactly the same thing. I enjoyed my time with Fallout 3, but it makes me realize how outdated that game is already. The engine as well. Everything is just so brown and dull and barren and empty, and the game is completely full of bugs. I'm still enjoying it though, somehow. It's a conundrum. I think the setting is way too overdone. Fallout 3 was enough. I...
I know many, many who are, particularly kids under 10. They are obsessive little freaks who don't know when enough is enough, and throw a world classy hissy fit when they don't get their way. Get used to it, this is the world we live in now. It'll only get worse.
Awesome. Now there's absolutely no reason to get this for PS3.
Hype. Pretty much it. That, and people don't seem to like anything new or different. Make the same old 8 hour linear war FPS and it'll sell millions and win game of the year.
How does not liking car games make me a fanboy? Fanboy of what, exactly? Fucking moron.
Now it only has to drop $40 more for me to actually get it.
If the engine is as strong as they say it is, it might actually be pretty good. I'll be playing it on PC though, just saying, if they can pull off 60fps on both consoles and have it looking decent, it might be okay.
It does. This looks like it offers a lot more than Killzone 2.5
Wow. So many potential game of the year contenders this year it's crazy. If another 8 year linear third person shooter wins it over a game like this (assuming it's going to be as awesome as it looks or sounds) I'm going to cry.
