I will agree with a bar stuff. There are some things in the game like that, that feel like an unfinished idea. Like they meant to put something more in but simply didn't. I smell an Uncharted 2 fanboy. Maybe you'd like the game more if it was short enough to finish in one sitting and so linear you had no choice in where to go next or choice in anything you said to anyone else.
I wonder how long until they start shutting servers down on PS3. I give it 3 months. I can't wait to see how much the numbers drop next month. I'm estimating a drop of 50% after the first month, 70% by the end of the second, and it'll hover around an 80% drop in current players for a few more months. By the end of the year, they will probably just have 1 server open.
I'm guessing whoever wrote this is playing it on PS3 and has never played an MMO in their lives and is shocked that MMOs actually release content you don't directly pay for, most likely because they are used to playing games on 360 where Microsoft forces every company to charge for DLC.
I agree. Awakening was awesome but the DLC like Darkspawn Chronicles was a joke. I'm sure they make more money off charging $7-10 for 30-45 minutes of gameplay. They may do both, but they will most definitely be releasing tiny bits of content and charging an arm and a leg for it. Hopefully it's better than the first Dragon Age DLC.

I don't think Dragon Age 2 has a chance, but Mass Effect 3 might. It's pretty light on the RPG stuff but still considered an RPG to most console kids, but regardless it's still an amazing franchise. Yup. It's the reason I don't enjoy most linear "cinematic" games. I agree. Every now and then, a great games writer will come along and write an excellent article. But for everyone one great article out there, there are 1000 "This game was cool but I don't remember much cause I was drunk" articles riddled with terrible grammar and spelling errors. I'm sure this has been said before but, the reason it was reviewed as a 9.5 is because, since the initial release of Mass Effect 2, IGN has switched its scale to only using 0.5 numbers. Had the initial review of Mass Effect 2 occurred after this change, it too would have received a 9.5 score. They didn't score this version a 9.5 because they thought it was worse, it's just a score given under the new system.

Oh, good add, forgot about the girls who play online games simply to get attention because they can't get any in real life. Happens all the time in MMOs, too.
