I can't tell if you are serious or not. Judging by your avatar, you probably are.

I agree, the concept of the game is really cool but I would NEVER buy a game without seeing gameplay of it...that's like buying a house without taking a look at the inside first.

The only way I could see paying for a demo is if it was like a 10 hour chunk out of an RPG. Even then I wouldn't do it but at least it would be somewhat justified.

It has not been a good generation at all for Japanese developers. The two biggest, Square Enix and Capcom have released pretty much all crap this entire generation.

I'll start anticipating the game when they actually show how the damn thing PLAYS. I can't believe anyone would pre-order this game based on cutscenes alone, just because the "real faces" look good. Of course they look good, THEY ARE REAL FACES. If the developers actually animated them by themselves THEN it would be impressive. Anyone can just video record some dude's face and put it into a game...it doesn't show anything about how talented the virtually unknown deve...

If you think the company actually gets anywhere close to $60 by selling a game at GameStop you clearly know nothing about how business works.

Obviously but that is not where the bulk of their money comes from. If tons of people bought the game but only played it for a month then cancelled their subscriptions, they would be in shit. There is no way the game will make up its development costs with just the sale of game copies. A lot of people are going to cancel subscriptions for the mere fact that console owners don't understand why they have to pay $15 for a game they already own, and they wont, as soon as the next big game com...

Oh god, my girlfriend was just playing that part last week. I had never heard it before. She just started singing for like 5 minutes and wouldn't stop, it was the most awkward thing I have ever seen in a video game, it was hilarious.

And as much as I hate to agree, you are right about the JRPGs. The relationships are linear and scripted into the games but they are usually 100 times more believable than ones in western RPGs, simply because they are usually such a key part...

Anyway, yes I know they add depth and I agree with that IF DONE RIGHT. My point is, Bioware especially doesn't seem to be doing it right recently. I think it's just expected of them to have sex in the game by their fans so they just throw it in without even trying. I mean honestly, Zevran has sex with you for giving you a pair of shoes. For all the people who wanted a deep, meaningful, sustained relationship with him in the game, that's pretty much just a middle finger.

I do this same thing in other MMOs (since WoW sucks). I always think a player will suck at something if they are wearing a certain type of gear. Usually I am right, but sometimes I am wrong, and that's one instance where I like to be wrong. Who knows, the person could know the game in and out and just be playing an alt that hasn't obtained great gear yet but still know exactly how to play their class or know exactly how to do a certain instance or encounter. Oddly enough, vanity is pr...

Origins has the most awkward sex in any video game I've ever seen. It's like action figures having sex to Enya.

I'm not scared of monsters, I'm not 3 years old. No monster in any video game itself is every "scary", at least not to me. Real fear comes from the unknown. Seeing monsters is not scary if you know what they are, which we already do. If they really wanted to make this game scary, they wouldn't have made it a shooter. They would have taken out every weapon you have and left you alone in the dark, forcing you to crawl through the ducts in the dark, avoiding enemies that yo...

I'm sure it's not scary. The first one wasn't. Console developers don't know how to create fear in games, they only know how to resort to cheap "shock" tactics, like a monster that looks dead on the ground jumping up at you when you walk near it. That isn't fear. I would be startled if my cat did that.

Not to mention the fact that a game can't be scary when you are armed to the teeth. Oh no, it's an alien, but I've got a huge plasma g...

I don't really think it matters in the end. A player is a player. They will get the same experience playing a multiplayer game with someone on PC or PS3. Sure, the functionality is kinda cool but will it make a difference? Not really.

I never really saw the point of in game romances...they aren't real people, and Bioware just seems to put them in for the sake of putting them in. It's expected of them at this point. I think the whole thing is just silly. Bioware seems to always have a tough time writing believable female roles. Most of the "romances" will just sleep with you cause you helped them out one time. If I got laid every time I helped someone out, my dick would have fallen off a long time ago.

If that's real that looks terrible. No one would ever play that.
