in Forza 1 and 2, the faster i went the more twitchy the controls became. Which made sense because of downforce, wind resistance, traction, and a myriad of physics calculations.

When i played GT 4, and the demo, i could always make smooth moves regardless of speed. There was no real sense of driving on the edge. GT never has conveyed to me a real sense of weight and a limit to each cars abilities. You can do a jump in GT, no problem. Try doing a jump at that maple track in Forz...

i'm a Blockbuster whore. i'm constantly renting movies. I don't buy movies anymore, i'm getting tired of all the clutter. I've downloaded movies, and the price is actually better than blockbusters. And the movies look great. My only gripe is the fact that it's in stereo. But i have a great Onkyo Receiver, so sometimes i don't mind the compromise of audio fidelity.

On a side not, look at the success of NetFlix, you can now stream movies. That's a clear sign and indication that ...

Haven't gotten my PS3 yet. It still isn't bundled with the DualShock 3 yet. I would never buy GT P, because to me it's the same old GT with a semi-new fresh coat of paint. The car models are gorgeous, but the backgrounds lack a little realism and accuracy. Plus the sounds are too, old GT ( I swear they are using the same tire screech wav file), and the demo kinda played like GT 4. I'll have to wait and see how GT 5 is coming along.

When i played the demo for Forza 2, i noticed ...

but to respond to someones comment above, they compared forza to gt and real life for the Laguna Seca track. The forza model was better than the GT's. GT's tracks have never really been completely accurate, it's good to see that they are trying a little bit harder this time around. I still think forza 2's tracks are more accurate. And there have been more comparisons with Forza 2 and real life, i just can't pull them out of my head right now, but when i find them i'll be sure to post them as ...

Forza creates this car lust that is undescribable. It's almost like you can smell the exhaust while you are modding your car. And then comes the obsession. Taking pictures of your car. Trying to find the perfect place to take your picture, and then to upload it to Forzamotorsports.com for the world to bask in your glory. It's a car lust like none other.

The sounds are all different and realistic, the depth to racing is insane, the computer AI is difficult and realistic, the phy...

and i for one believe that to be true. One of the greatest aspects of the 360 is the community element. You really feel like your part of a gaming culture when you (or me, at least) turn it on. You get to see highlighted gamers and get to make them your friends, you can see your friend's friends, and game with them. The community aspect of 360 is alive and well. And i thoroughly enjoy it.

But back on topic; parts shortage or whatever, is the whole world forgetting that you can ...

the fact that i said 1/3rd is not substantiated said it all. MS says 16% wether it's true or not is up to MS. With that said, the fact that i pointed out that 1 in 3 customers is a lot. Your not that bright, that is why i worded it like that and did not say 33%. One in three shows the magnitude, and ludicrousness of your statement. I know more than 3 people with 360s that haven't RROD'd.

And wow, it really shows your maturity...

The ones most outraged are non-360 owners. I was just glad to get mines back so i can "Finish the Fight". And the funny thing is that the non-360 owners are on this sight trying to sway people away from getting a 360, as if they work for Sony or something.

They really need to cut the crap.

It just irritates me when people respond to me without reading my post. Where did i say that it was great customer service, i thought i said i was satisfied. And i also thought i said that the whole process took 3 weeks. I think i left enough detail in that.

One question, do you have a 360 or plan on purchasing one? Just a question, it will legitimize my next response to you.

It's unfortunate that RROD has happened. It's great that Microsoft enacted a 3 year no q...

I was satisfied with the customer service, i was without my 360 for 3 weeks. That's including the whole process. I not happy that it broke, but i'm happy that it was easy (for me) to get it replaced.

Microsoft may have made mistakes with the hardware design (bad air circulation and soldering choices), but it's commendable that they responded so quickly with a way to remedy the problem.

I think that the 360 fans are just happy that if their unit RROD, they have no...

of course if you don't like the 360 or any of it's games, in your opinion, it's not going to rule anytime. It's just that simple.

Me as a gamer can like all games from every console. I think MGS4 is going to sell, and i think Gears 2 is going to sell. This is a pro 360 news post, and when the maturity level levels out, then maybe people on here can have discussions which interest them.

If you don't like nor believe the news post, then why would you want to come i...

The funny thing i see is that this is a 360 post, yet is populated by the people who have hated (maybe to harsh of a word) the 360 since it's onset. Wow, talk about irony. A lot of sony fans continue to populate the pro 360 news posts.

What do you expect the guy to say, "oh the 360 is not going to do as well as last year." Please be more reasonable. And then you all come in here rushing to either bash or downplay the console.

Why so much hate. I just we...

Bubbles for you sir, for your sensible comment.

I personally like the game. It was difficult, the single player had beautiful graphics, and massive boss battles. It was an ode to the old action games of yore. I liked the old school play, simple in it's execution, but satisfying.

Can't wait for part 2, game on people....

I agree, the Original XBox controller was massive ( I kinda miss the Duke though), but the major complaint was that the console was too big and heavy. They didn't even give it a chance to say that the console's controller was too big. People just assumed that the japanese hands were too small to use the controller, which might have some validity. But all in all, they didn't give the console a chance.

Remember the Original XBox crushed the PS2 graphically and performance wise, f...

my reasoning you can read above. But just to elaborate on something one of you said. Someone stated that if 360 owned up to their faulty hardware and fixed the problem things would have been better.

You honestly think that? That sounds delusional to me. And it might not have been 6 months, but they have owned up to their faulty hardware, enacted an expensive 3 year warranty, and have been trying to decrease the chip sizes to squash the problem. I don't know where you have been,...

Finally someone making sense. Great comment The Wood. With competition these console would have never progressed as far as they have come. And people want to dance around like a bunch of neanderthals whenever there is bad news on their (as if they own part of the company) competitors side. Pathetic, childish, and just plain ignorant. Competition is what makes things great. It drives down prices, pushes forth technology, opens up creativity, and it brings the best out of many (won't say all) p...

what are you talking about, do you really think that if the 360 was more reliable, that it would have sold better. You really are delusional if you think that. It doesn't matter. The Japanese are extremely brand loyal. That's it, that sums up the whole argument.

When we all were having our horrible hardware problems with the PS2, do you really think that they weren't suffering the same thing. For goodness sake, there was a Class Action Lawsuit. Let's not even forget that the PS...
